Gametitle-VB.pngThe following is based on Van Buren and has not been confirmed by canon sources.

Shamans are found in tribes such as the Twin Mothers and the Blackfoots in 2253.

Twin Mothers

In the Twin Mothers tribe, anyone who is ill is separated quickly from the rest of the tribe to prevent the spread of disease. In such maters, the shaman has the final word on whether or not someone can be released back into the tribe. The current shaman in 2253 is Helea, a young, friendly women.

Merrin is the tribal shaman and medicine woman of the Blackfoot Tribe. She's also a Daughter of Hecate. Her home is right next to Kurisu's because she wants to keep an eye on the village leader.

Interactions with the player character

It is hinted at in the Twin Mothers design document/2 that Helea could be married by the player as she is "unwed and available", but lacks any current prospects.

It is likely that both would heal the player too.

Shamans were going to appear in Van Buren, the cancelled Fallout 3 by Black Isle Studios.
