Questline: When the player first meets Sheffield they will be asked to bring Sheffield a nuka cola (Sheffield is a former alcoholic who is now addicted to nuka cola). Should the player give them the nuka cola the quest will be completed and Sheffield will be unlocked as a possible settler.
Notes: It is possible to trade with Sheffield however one must first go through the original talk about recruitment. Sheffield acts as a normal settler once invited to work for you.
Bugs: Sheffield may continue to thank you over and over again with no new dialogue. PS4
If Sheffield enters power armor the player will not be able to get him out. PS4
Background[edit | edit source]
A poor drunkard, down on his luck. After his liver nearly gave out due to booze, Sheffield turned to Nuka-Cola as his choice of stimulant for keeping him awake. However, the precious medicine is more difficult to obtain that it might seem, as Sheffield is a pauper and cannot afford it.
