The Shipbreaker is an unique fog crawler who has haunted Mount Desert Island for decades. The time spent in the Fog has apparently mutated her, so that she gives off an unique radio signature that interferes with regular radio equipment. Old Longfellow has spent a lifetime tracking the beast and would like to take his revenge on her - for all the deaths she has caused and friends she took from him. Unlike other fog crawlers, the Shipbreaker is also unusually vicious and destructive, killing for sport, rather than out of necessity. Taking her out is as much personal as it is a public service to the people of Far Harbor.
- Shipbreaker is received by the player after talking to various settlers or automatically upon spotting the Shipbreaker. Since Old Longfellow has been hunting for the beast for years, he can offer an explanation as to how to locate it and the background. Shipbreaker can be tracked using radio, by tuning into the appropriate frequency. This will let the player home in on the monstrosity, which is incredibly resilient and hits hard.
- After killing it, all that's left is informing Old Longfellow about its demise (or simply bringing him along for the hunt).
|Tune to Shipbreaker's Radio Frequency||Old Longfellow has been tracking an ancient Fog Crawler known as "Shipbreaker" for years, but has never caught her yet. I can track her using my Pip-Boy radio when she's nearby.|

|Talk to Old Longfellow||I found and killed Shipbreaker, the Fog Crawler that Old Longfellow has been hunting for years. I should let him know that he can stop searching for her.|
