Sierra Madre armor is a set of armor in the Fallout: New Vegas add-on Dead Money.

Characteristics[edit | edit source]

Composed of a ballistic vest with pauldrons and a yellow jumpsuit with reinforced boots and gloves, this suit of armor was once worn by police and security personnel at the Sierra Madre, completed by a helmet enclosing the entire head.

After the War, this armor can be found scattered around the Madre, usually in security control rooms. It provides a Damage Threshold of 16 while only weighing fifteen pounds. Additionally, its helmet provides a Damage Threshold of 4 while weighing three pounds. All in all, it provides excellent protection considering its weight.

Variants[edit | edit source]

Locations[edit | edit source]

  • Two suits and helmets can be found in a locker inside the Sierra Madre Vault.
  • A suit and helmet can be found in the Villa Police Station locker room. The suit can be found on one of the benches.
  • A suit can be found on a shelf next to a hard locked gun locker upstairs in the westernmost building in the Villa, slightly northwest of the Police Station.

Bugs[edit | edit source]

  • PCIcon pc.png PlayStation 3Icon ps3.png Xbox 360Icon xbox360.png When a Stealth Boy is used in conjunction with this apparel, the imprint 'SECURITY' on the back will appear as '101'. This is because the armor's normal texture, while a separate file, is visually identical to that of Vault 101 security armor.
