Stay away from the memorial. We have orders to shoot first and loot the bodies later.

Silas is a slaver stationed at the Lincoln Memorial in Fallout 3.

Background[edit | edit source]

Leroy Walker’s right-hand man and trusted second-in-command, Silas guards the Slavers’ current defensive stronghold from the almost constant Super Mutant attacks, sent to the Lincoln Memorial by Eulogy Jones just in case any escaped slaves would want to pay homage to "the great emancipator". Curt, sly, and sardonic, Silas isn't a particularly pleasant man, even for a Slaver.[1]

Quests[edit | edit source]

  • Head of State: The Lone Wanderer needs to kill Leroy Walker, Silas, and the other slavers, so that the escaped slaves at the Temple of the Union are able to make their permanent move there.

Effects of player's actions[edit | edit source]

When the Lone Wanderer approachs the Memorial, Silas will stop you from heading up the stairs and claim that the Memorial is "off-limits". If asked, he will lead you to his superior Leroy Walker, who is stationed inside the Memorial Office. If the Lone Wanderer has already made an enemy of the slavers at Paradise Falls, Silas will still enter the original encounter speech, but as soon as he finishes, his men will open fire.
