Edit undoing Edit

I don't give a reason when using rollback on edits I don't feel are appropriate. Please don't undo my rollbacks again. The Australian Kiwi 17:32, February 27, 2012 (UTC)

Yes, and that is quite inconsiderate and impolite. Users like me sacrifice their time contributing to this wiki and it's frustrating to see an edit thrown to the waste-bin. This wiki can be frustrating enough with people higher up the ladder having their somewhat fixed ideas about what they like and what not.

I do think about my edits and hope they are helpful, but everyone has their own style in using language obviously.

The alterations you have made to my entry now are acceptable to me, so everyone's happy now. Enough of this. --Saradoc 18:03, February 27, 2012 (UTC)

Rollback

Hey Kiwi. Just some friendly advice: use rollback mainly on vandalism and blatantly inappropriate/incorrect information. You may then contact the editor if you wish, otherwise leave a small note in the edit summary box when undoing to explain your revert. Where the line is drawn you decide, but please keep it in mind. Be seeing you! -ΣΔLet's talk! 22:52, February 27, 2012 (UTC)

Stub project

You read my reaction on that speculation forum thread, right? I think that we should focus on the attention required category and one of them is the stubs. That is a category that needs a lot of attention and work, and although I know they don't have that much effect anymore, I am planning to add the Category:Fallout: New Vegas stubs to the achievement track pretty soon now. So your suggestion is a good one. We can first add the FNV stubs to the project and see how the response is. You think you can set up that project in the Fallout Wiki namespace? Quotations project.

Hi, mate! Great to have you aboard, working with us on the project! Let's keep the older Fallout games alive and well at the wiki! Well, as I put on the project page, I'm gonna share duties among the participants. We're starting with FO 1 articles. I'd like you to begin working on the articles about characters from Shady Sands, Khans (location), and Junktown, if you don't mind. Cut content should not be included, but feel free to add quotes to them too if you want. All the characters from the aforementioned locations can be found here (http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_characters), and soon The Gunny will provide us with a nice progress table to help us keep track of what is done and what is not. Remember: if you wanna let everybody know about something that may come up, there is the talk section of the project page. And if the articles already have quotations, only change them if reaaally necessary (for instance, when the line is too dumb, or too vague, stuff like that). Take a look at the guidelines and scope. And let's get it on! Thank you for participating, mate! Cheers!

Link to talk page in article

Your sole reason for removing a link to the relevant section of a talk page is that you've never seen one before? That seems rather flimsy. If you don't want it there, then I will put the list of overlord locations in the article itself or in the supermutant article. There's absolutely no reason that only one overlord location is listed in the tri-beam article (and actually when I encountered that overlord, he wasn't even carrying one, because their weapon is chosen randomly). Re:Nuka-Cola Victory

It isn't speculation because it's not worded in a speculative way. He put it as a matter of fact. Then it's up to be decided whether or not said fact is true or not. There's a difference between speculation and false information. SigmaDelta54 (Talk) 16:52, April 14, 2012 (UTC)

Don't worry, I don't find it patronising. In fact, I don't think it helps your point one bit: there is no reasoning here, he is merely stating a fact. I don't know where he got this fact, but if there is no backing behind it, it is false. There is no matter of using reasoning or logic here, therefore it is not speculation in the least sense of the word. SigmaDelta54 (Talk) 17:00, April 14, 2012 (UTC)
Since there is no reference, it is presumed to be false. If there is a valid reference, it should be added into the article. The only reason why you would remove such a thing is because you doubt its validity, which is reasonable, since there is no source stated. SigmaDelta54 (Talk) 17:05, April 14, 2012 (UTC)
In this instance, no, you are right - it shouldn't stay (since he presented no source). I kept it there for formality sake as to not intrude and hope that things can be worked out (i.e. he presents a source, or you might find one). But since that is not the case it'll be removed now. SigmaDelta54 (Talk) 17:09, April 14, 2012 (UTC)
No problem. Keep up the good work. SigmaDelta54 (Talk) 17:14, April 14, 2012 (UTC)
