Steamer trunks are containers in Fallout 4. They can be constructed at settlements, doubling as both decoration and storage. However, the biggest role steamer trunks play is in all the dungeons the player can explore in the game, where steamer trunks act as end rewards and contain a numerous randomly generated pieces of apparel, weapons, rare junk, caps, and so on and so forth. In various quests that send the player to recover items from dungeons, the steamer trunk will frequently contain the desired item.
