The sunken sewer is an unmarked location in Dupont Circle in the Capital Wasteland.

Layout[edit | edit source]

Located in the northern part of Dupont Circle, this sewer is a nuclear waste dump, containing some feral ghouls. Being a nuclear waste dump it is irradiated throughout with a maximum of 11 rads per second. There is a small alcove in the back of the room with a safe and some shelves.

Notable loot[edit | edit source]

Appearances[edit | edit source]

The sunken sewer appears in Fallout 3.

Bugs[edit | edit source]

  • Xbox 360Icon xbox360.png With patch 1.1.0.35 the game may crash upon exiting the sunken sewer.
  • Sometimes companions can get stuck in the room with the barrels when trying to leave. They will not escape even if you fire/send them away. Do not go into the large room after the initial hallway opening with your companions. Have them wait in the hallway until you are ready to leave. If you already got them stuck in there, just tell them to wait and push them all the way to the hallway. You may also fast travel to a location (e.g. Megaton) and the followers will be right behind you when you arrive.
