The product, advertised as mixing the flavors of the east and west, proved very popular with the youth demographic.[1] In 2077 Q3, the company was conducting product focus testing on a new formula with an increased sweet taste. The "All-New Sweet-and-Sour Stroganoff" was described as the "Same great Stroganoff product with 100% more sweet flavor."
Results from this testing included the same group reporting that they found flavor and consistency of product to be lacking.[2] In addition, felt ill within 24 hours after consuming the product, and 78% questioned the need for additional sweetness.[2] The focus team recommended that the high-level concept needed more analysis to determine if the consumer acceptance level would be an insurmountable barrier.[2]
