Rotted Out Wood Grip?
Is it me or does the bottom of the grip look rotted out? Because im sure thats not how it was originally made.--TacticalGamerXBL 23:20, December 31, 2010 (UTC)
- The grip on the .357 looks more of an animal horn of some type, like a ram or bison. Either way, organic compounds, such as horn and wood, will always rot. Seeing as the firearm is just over 200 years old, it's normal to expect some degradation. Kastera1000 03:43, January 1, 2011 (UTC)
The grips on the .357 are Stag grips made from animal horn, they can be made from many kinds such as elk, deer, etc.
BUG WATCH : Repairing this weapon when MODDED
Does anyone else have this same bug?. The weapon was about 98% condition, and then I applied a weapons repair kit and it dropped down to 75% condition!. Metro Tunnel Rat 03:31, January 2, 2011 (UTC)

Long barrel mod
Does the long barrel modification only affect the base damage and not the crit damage? Message 13:04, September 30, 2011 (UTC)
Did anyone get around to asking Josh Sawyer what they based this gun off? I just found out that Ruger manufactures a single action revolver which looks like the old Colt Peacemaker (and the ingame weapon) but has a .357 magnum cambering and is called the Ruger Vaquero.
- A lot of SA revolvers look like each other, and I doubt the Vaquero would be a good comparison because they offer it in a variety of chamberings. Dad has the Ruger Vaquero chambered for .45 Long Colt. Great Mara 06:51, 5 April 2012 (UTC)
