About the edit of the 'Vault 87 in a safe' thing, I just cheated to get the revolver and it has no pip-boy model (I.E you do not see a model of Fallout Wiki Boy holding it).

Just wanted to wonder: was this a dev oversight? Or was this person just misled by something, and if so what? Crazyking 05:13, 10 November 2008 (UTC)Crazyking

I could not find it in the safe in Springvale. I expect the contents of that safe is random (or is there more than one safe in Springvale?).

NO NO NO!!! All wrong. The magnum IS NOWHERE IN THE GAME!! It has no pip-boy model and it has a 100% crtiical chance along with about 7065 damage. THAT WOULD EQUAL OVER 9000 DAMAGE!!! So no, you cannot find this magnum waiting for a Vault 101 Dweller to pick it up!! Crazyking 15:29, 12 November 2008 (UTC)Crazyking

Methinks it's in the game just so the Mysterious Stranger could use it. And for you PC dudes to be able to spawn one with the console. Maybe they wanted a non-scoped .44, or maybe it just needs to exist as an item for the Mysterious Stranger to use.

Thanks![]

Thank you to whoever cleaned that article up. The magnum is just a weapon fot the MS to get uber instakills. Crazyking 18:24, 16 November 2008 (UTC)Crazyking

Merge[]

Shouldn't this page & the Scoped .44 magnum page be merged? It'd be a bit cleaner. Pararaptor 08:45, October 4, 2009 (UTC)

Fallout 2 did not have a scoped 44. If we separate the articles by game than maybe. But not as of yet.--Kingclyde 09:26, October 4, 2009 (UTC)

Smith & Wesson[]

Is S&W a canon pre-war company or not? If so we need to do a page on it, if not why is it mentioned under this article? --70.27.190.148 20:15, March 17, 2011 (UTC)

S&W was founded in 1852.
