Health Benefits

Griffon makes a lot of claims for his fake tonic, but I wonder if he was right when he said it had health benefits, at least to ghouls. Since we know the stuff is just regular irradiated water and we also know that radiation actually heals ghouls instead of hurting them like anyone else they might the only people in the wasteland that could drink the stuff and actually get any kind of long term benefits from it.--A Pickering 17:38, November 9, 2009 (UTC)

Trust me I don't think something made by radiation will have the health benifits Griffen claimed from more radiation. - RASICTalk 18:13, November 9, 2009 (UTC)
But we know ghouls are healed by radiation. Obviously the stuff doesn't do any of the things Griffon claimed it could do, but could it actually help them if they drink it?--A Pickering 18:49, November 9, 2009 (UTC)
Doubtful. Griffin just seems to be the stereotypical snake oil salesman on par with those operating out of the back of caravans in the late 1800s. All his claims and product are bunk. Especially the "Cures bad eyesight" claim. Radiation can cause cataracts, which practically all people in the Fallout 3 world seem to have. I sincerely doubt an irradiated product is going to improve the vision of ghouls because it's irradiated. ~Iridia talk | contrib 11:43, January 8, 2010 (UTC)

And it definitly won't regrow thier hair because radiation made them lose it in the first place. ~Adam

I don't mean to quote bioshock 2 but... PLACEBO EFFECT!!! A CAPITALISTS BEST FRIEND

"Treated"

In the bottling operation holotape from Griffon, he specifically refers to Aqua Cura as "the treated irradiated water". Could it perhaps be mentioned this may refer to the numerous other consumables in the vicinity of the tubs, namely Abraxo, Sugar Bombs and Nuka-Cola? The presence of empty soda bottles as well would suggest the latter's usage, and of course the first two items are used to enhance Jet so it effects ghouls, so maybe it's being used to similar effect with the water. Speculation should be left out of articles.--Gothemasticator 01:58, September 24, 2011 (UTC)
Disappointing, but alright. Doreiku Kuroofangu 02:03, September 24, 2011 (UTC)
