Note: Moved from Talk:Electrical gun(unofficial name)

Until we find out the actual name for this thing can we just call it the Arc Welder, like in Red Facion? Lonely astronomer 09:58, August 27, 2011 (UTC)

Added damage and other stats from the GECK. Differed significantly from the info that was already here. I'm assuming the GECK info is right and previous info was taken from the ingame pip-boy or something. --Rooker75 08:31, September 21, 2011 (UTC)

I agree the damage was different than previously in here, but my in-game pip boy didn't show their values either. On the xbox 360 with an energy weapon skill of 100, my read-out was 11 damage and 85 damage-per-second. My guy also has laser commander, if that is what is making the difference. 18:27, September 21, 2011 (UTC)

Arc Welder Projectile?

Anyone else pissed about the re-used projectile for the Arc Welder? Its "electricity streams" appear to just be a constant stream of the Tesla Cannon's AOE projectiles. I would know cause i tried to make a similar electricity based weapon as a mod and found those projectiles. They're cool looking in concept, but in first person the planes of the projectile are profusely visibile. This is probably because those projectiles were never meant to be seen in a first person perspective. ~Kickass119

What exactly is the point of this weapon? It does EMP damage, but eben then it's not that good.--FAR-02C 17:58, October 6, 2011 (UTC)
