75mm in Fallout: New Vegas?

While Fallout 2's howitzer are clearly identified as 75mm, by the fact that you actually find and use a shell in-game complete with item description, are the NV Artillery pieces' caliber ever mentioned? I've never taken a close look at the shells stored inside Nellis Array though, is the caliber indicated on them? The howitzer in NV do appear similar to real world 105mm M101's.Dr. Lobotomy 19:49, February 4, 2011 (UTC)

They look closer to a M114 155mm howitzer to me but i do agree that they look way too big to be puny 75mm howitzers in New Vegas (see the M116 Howitzer on Wikipedia for an actual example of a 75mm howitzer), i should also point out that the dev's from Fallout 2 didn't do their homework when it came to the weight of the shells since real 75mm shells at their heaviest weigh only about 20 pounds not 40 (40 pounds is closer to the weight of a 105mm shell).--BattleBen 04:15, March 1, 2011 (UTC)

Base id for the gun.

Could someone grab the various base ids for the weapons? Mictlantecuhtli 23:33, July 27, 2011 (UTC)

Not sure this page needs a split, in fact it looks pretty good as it is. It's better organized than some of the pages which are in more dire need of splits. ---bleep196- 14:30, September 7, 2011 (UTC)

Yeah I had it split into different pages originally, I was asked to merge them. I am removing the split thing from the page. Mictlantecuhtli 14:18, October 26, 2011 (UTC)

Boomers Bombing Sharecropper Farms?

"The Boomer guns were also used in unspoken negotiations with the New California Republic, who had attempted to shut off the base's water supply. In response, the Boomers shelled the water lines to the NCR Sharecropper Farms, prompting the NCR to turn the water back on at the base."
