Rad level >0?[]

So this basically means simply taking a sip out of a radioactive toilet will give you all three of those really nice buffs? At least Popeye just ate spinach... Dr. Lobotomy 16:19, July 19, 2011 (UTC)

I think the Rad level >0 refers to areas in the game that have background radiation (like Camp Searchlight) July 19, 2011

Saw that in the description, guess it's not really overpowered then. In fact it seems pretty crummy beyond making Vault 34 and Camp Searchlight slightly easier unless one of the DLC has huge irradiated areas. Dr. Lobotomy 17:22, July 20, 2011 (UTC)

I got the perk and it's kinda useless unless you're in a constantly irradiated area, such as Vault34, BUT the more rads you have, the faster your action points regenerate, which is neato.

Rad Absorption or Atomic! come to be hard choice wen it come to chosing rad related perk for me. Atomic! seem to be anti ghoul perk becouse they are usually sorce of radiation in unplesant up close combat. nEVER_BoRN

Attack speed bonus not working?[]

Playing on PC, fully patched, no mods. I have stood in a radiated area with the atomic perk and timed the fire rates of a variety of automatic weapons. The values I get are EXACTLY the regular fire rates. I do not have the trait that causes you to fire 20% slower. Anyone else have this problem? --140.180.247.22 18:09, November 4, 2014 (UTC)

I just checked in the GECK and I see what the problem is. The perk multiplies attack speed by 1.25 if radiation is > 0. The list of weapons to which this is applied is empty. Probably a bug? Although, the in-game perk description does not definitively state that the perk should increase your attack speed, only that when under its influence, you are faster and stronger.--140.180.247.22 18:22, November 4, 2014 (UTC)
