The line note below has been removed:

Geckos are actually Neutral to Barton, due to his faction settings, and will not attack him if lured near him by the player.

There are some neutral geckos that have been observed, but there is no evidence that all geckos are neutral to him. During several play-throughs of the tutorial Barton has been slain by geckos. 20:21, January 30, 2011 (UTC)

It seems that he doesn't spawn until Sunny smiles speaks to you after making the healing powder during the tutorial. I was able to take advantage of that to get gear from him(the trader outfit/hat) by reloading the game until he spawned wearing the clothes. It's probably a good way to get them if you're not willing to murder someone else(or pickpocket) for it... It's pretty rare to find these things on someone who would attack you. --Skarn22 00:50, February 3, 2011 (UTC)

He doesn't seem at all eager to approach you if you're in the area later in the game with companion(s). Wunengzi 06:58, March 1, 2011 (UTC)

Main Page clean up

I just cleaned up the 'quest notes' and realize now the whole section is redundant. The Quest Notes section should probably be reduced or deleted and converted to a link as the quest has its own page. I'm hesitant to do so as it is an unmarked quest and new players may find the extra info useful. Didn't want to take it upon myself to cut a whole sections worth of content, but it is a duplication and redundant to the quest page. Just Sayin' 22:00, March 26, 2011 (UTC)

Something Awful Reference

when you have the Wild Wasteland perk the Johnny referenced is Johnny Five Aces from Zybourne Clock a steampunk pen and paper vapourware game, JE Sawyer is a Something Awful "Goon", i am not going to add this to the article ill leave it to the experts :)

Removed Bugs section

a Varmint Rifle can be gained by shooting one of the other weapons out of his hand, otherwise it does not appear. a Caravan Shotgun can be found by sneak killing him without ever talking to him.

Tested both of these extensively (360&PC) and removed the section as a result.Marineris 11:51, June 5, 2011 (UTC)
