The "senior scribes" section reads terribly. It sounds a bit like fan-fiction as well. Cerebral plague 16:53, February 14, 2010 (UTC)
East Coast ranks[edit source]
Are Paladins not higher in rank than knight sergeants and knight captains?
Paladin (Capital Wasteland chapter)[edit source]
Okay guys, this is kinda bugging me. What's the deal with the rank of Paladin in the Capital Wasteland chapter? Is it the rank above Knight? Or the rank above Knight Captain? Despite the table stating Paladin is higher than Knight Captain, it used to say it was below and only above Knight for a long period of time, plus there's references throughout this whole page saying both. Such as "the best Knights are promoted to Paladins" which clearly states Paladin is above Knight, or does this mean Knights as a whole (Knight, Knight Sergeant, Knight Captain). However it also says in the Star Paladin section "It is ranked below Sentinel, but above Paladin" which implies Paladin is higher that Knight Captain. Also in the game, Paladins are seen as squad commanders to few Knights but also as drill instructors and, in Paladin Tristan's case, field commanders under command of a bunch of soldiers (And he was placed in-command of the Lyons' Pride). Paladin is also seen as a rank of honor, so I don't know how that affects anything. So what's the deal with the rank? Lower or higher than Knight Sergeant and Knight Captain? What about the Outcasts?[edit source]
Shouldn't they be represented here as well?--Ant2242 20:11, 9 November 2012 (UTC)
More forms of Initiates?[edit source]
- No. Initiates may train for a particular branch of service, but they aren't specifically Knight or Scribe Initiates, just initiates. Tagaziel (talk) 08:28, 8 March 2014 (UTC)
Fallout 4 Brotherhood rank symbols[edit source]
Scribe Hierarchy Inconsistencies[edit source]
Alright so a few inconsistencies I've found while looking around. 1) If Scribe Rothchild is Head Scribe and oversees the Proctors in Lyons' Brotherhood making Head Scribe above Proctor, and Maxson's rankings are heavily influenced by Lyons' why is Head Scribe below Proctor in the Maxson's Hierarchy subsection?
2) Scribe Rothchild is mentioned to oversee the Scribes by Proctor Jameson, "Scribe Rothchild oversees the Scribes in their duties to seek knowledge and restore the technology the Brotherhood has acquired" however despite being part of the Scribe line of rankings she says "the Scribes in THEIR duties" not "us Scribes in OUR duties" or some variant, so how do we know he's the Head Scribe and not just a Senior Scribe?
3) How come in the Old Model subsection the final rank on the Scribe line is refereed to as Master Scribe? Although in Fallout 1 Vree is refereed to as Master Scribe, in New Vegas the title seemed to be replaced with Head Scribe and the later installment is always the more canonically accurate unless stated otherwise.
