Anyone know why this page should/shouldn't be deleted?--Gothemasticator 03:21, October 30, 2010 (UTC)
- There's no reason why it should; I took the actions that were actually necessary, redirecting it to this article and moving its talk page to this location. --Kris 03:54, October 30, 2010 (UTC)
when this armor is worn, look at the left arm where the pip-boy is on your wrist.
they just removed a piece of the armor to make it fit and it looks pretty bad, compared to the remnants where the armor is actually molded around the pip-boy.
- It's the same model as T-51b power armor (Fallout 3). Just a new texture befitting the Brotherhood of Steel. From a technical standpoint, each mesh is made up of parts. Those parts are named a specific way when they need to be shown or hidden based on perspective or the use of a Pip-boy. For example, parts names "arms" will show up in first person, whereas parts named upperbody will be hidden; parts named pipboyon will appear when the pip-boy is worn and be hidden when it's not, and the opposite for pipboyoff. IMO they could have done it better, but they did have to do something to prevent the pip-boy from being occluded by the clothing, which can be seen when the player wears an outfit such as Mayor MacCready's outfit which was never intended for the player - or anyone else with a pip-boy - to wear. --Kris 11:35, November 13, 2010 (UTC)
They shoos me, I donno why
I still get shot at by NCR Rangers when I wear Brotherhood T-51b Power Armor, is this a bug? I am Idolized with the NCR
- Um no it's not a bug. You're disguised as an enemy, did you expect them to welcome you with open arms? If you wanna wear T-51b around NCR you'll need to find the plain version, not wear the Brotherhood version. --Kris 15:25, November 23, 2010 (UTC)
What if you allied them during For The Republic? the Brotherhood don't shoot at you at Hidden Valley
This happened to me too. I allied the brotherhood with the NCR but when i wear this armour, some of them still attack me!! So i killed the ones that attacked me and then there where a load of other NCR soldiers that couldn't care less about me killing them. So i went to the Reputation page in my pip-boy and it said they were 'neutral' and when i took it off it said the NCR still 'liked' me!! This is all very confusing but if someone could tell me what's wrong that would be greatly appreciated, thanks. Jack Teh Ripper 14:32, December 22, 2010 (UTC)Jack Teh Ripper
Does this armor have a helmet?
I just want to know that, it would be nice to clarify this in the article—Preceding comment was unsigned. Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
- No, BoS members wear either a T-45d helmet or a T-51b helmet, there's no brotherhood-specific version. --Kris 12:42, December 7, 2010 (UTC)
Does this have anything to do with the Winterized Power Armor from Operation Anchorange?
Well yeah it's the same model number. Those suits were obviously used by the US Army during the war, the Brotherhood of Steel will have salvaged them afterwards. Same goes for all of the power armour suits as far as I know. Except the Enclave ones, I think those suits were manufactured by the Enclave themselves after the bombs fell. Just read the page titled "Power Armor" if you want to know more, the folks here have done a really good job on that article.--18.104.22.168 14:12, June 24, 2011 (UTC)
Doesn't seem so. Initially was slightly miffed at te similar colours, but a comparison shows the Ancharage suits really are snow white while these I guess you could say have been painted "steel" grey, 22.214.171.124 23:00, 25 May 2015 (UTC)
