Does anyone know how to redeem the 100 chip's? i cannot seem to find out how. Anon

You mean redeem the vouchers? They're worth 1000 chips, and no, I can't redeem them either. I'd be interested to know if anyone at all has been able to redeem these. I'm assuming it's a bug with the vending machine. There's at least one other bug with it that I'm aware of. You're supposed to be able to redeem what's listed as "Hat, Fedora" in the machine but the machine doesn't seem to accept hats of any kind. In the ingredient side of that category it reads "(Fedora 0/1)" which I'm guessing is the problem as the only item called "Fedora" in the game is worn by the dead investigator at the Ultra-Luxe (which can't even be looted from his corpse, unless you're on the PC and use console commands, I suppose). I'm assuming the machine was supposed to take Pre-War Hats but because they spelled it "Fedora" it doesn't work.174.0.106.101 17:00, January 6, 2011 (UTC)

I had the exact same problem and what I did was reload one of my saves from when I was in Dead Money. What I did then was go to the casino and win 7,000 chips. When you win that many chips you will get a complimentary voucher which , from what I experienced, fixed the problem you guys are getting. Then when you return to Father Elijah's quarters you will then be able to redeem the voucher.

THANK YOU for providing that information, but now I'm rather cross at whoever wrote the following in the article about the Sierra Madre Casino:
"and 7000 chips earns you, oddly enough, a free 1000 chips.
No, it earns you a Complimentary Voucher (worth 1000 chips) AND UNLOCKS the means to cash Complimentary Vouchers in at the vending machines. Otherwise, you're screwed, and the Complimentary Vouchers you'll receive at the bunker upon completion of the DLC will be worthless. That's a pretty important detail to omit, and because I made the mistake of taking that at face value (that it was merely 1000 chips), I didn't bother with the casino, damnit!174.0.106.101 11:03, January 8, 2011 (UTC)

Same here, the wording of the page threw me off and now i dont have saves in dead money 70.178.202.186 23:56, January 20, 2011 (UTC)

Could the person who keeps changing "7000 chips" to "7500 chips" on this page and other pages related to this please stop doing so? The voucher unlock is awarded at 7000, not 7500.174.0.106.101 07:23, January 28, 2011 (UTC)

sorry but its 7500 chips till I was able to get mine.

This page was made by e because I did not know what they were when I got them. I went to Google answers and found this out. Azf12 18:07, April 30, 2011 (UTC)

Is it true you can return to the Sierra Madre after you complete the DLC if you win the Complimentary Vouchers?

It's 7500 chips. 64.74.213.98 17:07, August 9, 2011 (UTC)

Serious Mis-Information[]

This page needs to be desperately updated. Firstly, redeemable vouchers can no longer be used as an exploit for getting out of the map limits due to the fact that they have become permanent quest items. Secondly, you CANNOT return to the Sierra Madre without the use of Console Commands on a PC, so the entry stating that earning these vouchers allows you to return is severely wrong. Nobody's stopping you from editing it. Go ahead. Yes Man default 08:24, July 14, 2011 (UTC)

Needs more information!

Redemption code: Is the 7000 winnings an overall acomplishment or must it be the total + amout stated as "Sierra Madre Earnings"? 24.229.118.61 02:57, August 1, 2011 (UTC)123go

Missing?[]

I just finished Dead Money on PS3 and all that was in the dropbox was 100 chips. There was no voucher. :/ 71.103.172.200 22:42, August 8, 2011 (UTC)
