Should A3-21 be added to the Artificial Intelligences? Or be left as a human character until the players figure it out? Triaxx2 01:42, February 14, 2010 (UTC)

Androids are not computers. They were artificially created, but they are organic. Ausir(talk) 01:49, February 14, 2010 (UTC)

"Chips" Red Racer factory terminal entries[]

From the description: "Aiden4017 (Talk | contribs) (→‎Background: removed red racer terminal entries, while The Surgeon mentions chips in their entries they don't specify they are microchips)"

If they are not talking about microchips what kind are they referring too?--Ant2242 (talk) 13:20, June 28, 2020 (UTC)

"Chip" in Fallout more often refers to technology that isn't microchips, for example the Water chip in the first Fallout, Excavator chip in Fallout 2, the RHO chip in Fallout 3 Platinum chip and Override chip in Fallout: New Vegas, the Courser chip and NX-42 guidance chip in Fallout 4.
While the Platinum chip is arguably a microchip, the rest of these are usually specialised control units with vacuum tubes, pass cards, or circuit boards.Aiden4017 (talk) 04:05, June 29, 2020 (UTC)
Possibly, but I can and have added a list of silicon "chips" that prove that they existed and were well used/distributed. "Computer#cite_note-0"--Ant2242 (talk) 04:37, June 29, 2020 (UTC)
