Unknown General in Operation Anchorage promo screens
I predict... that the pictures of the General-type character in the screenshots will be General Chase, and that he will be the real deal a la Stanislaus Braun/Betty--MadCat221 21:07, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
Chase and Tranquility Lane
I think the article is wrong -- while the Chinese Simulation Documentation in Tranquility Lane does say that Chase "officially denied" Braun the simulation, the implication is that Chase gave it to him in secret. If I get a chance, I'll transcribe the relevant portion of the letter tonight to verify this. OpaOpa 01:52, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
General Chase and Protector McGraw
Anyone else think Chase looks a little like an older version of Protector McGraw? The first time I played Operation: Anchorage I thought for a moment that McGraw was somehow in the simulation with me.
What's the source for "Fort Constantine is named after him"? Seems like speculation and highly unlikely to me... Even if we'd accept the notion that the US military named their forts after generals currently in service (which he was at the time of the Great War), they'd name it "Fort Chase" and not "Fort Constantine". -- Porter21 (talk) 22:43, December 6, 2009 (UTC)
- I have just been entertaining the same questions. I haven't found any source yet.--Gothemasticator 22:46, December 6, 2009 (UTC)
- I doubt there is one. I've searched User:Mirar/FO3 notes which has the text for all notes and terminal entries in the base game for both "Constantine" and "Chase". The only occurences of these names are terminal entries about the construction of Liberty Prime and the Tranquility Lane sim (as well as some unrelated stuff). Most likely it's just people jumping to conclusions because of the name similarity once again. -- Porter21 (talk) 22:54, December 6, 2009 (UTC)
His coat and a message to him are on the ship. So, my guess is that he was abducted. But nothing else in the game mentions his disappearance or anything. --Wierdperson31 23:51, October 19, 2010 (UTC)
- The tape is bugged, but it says it's a cargo shipment to Anchorage. He wasn't abducted. Nitty Tok. 23:52, October 19, 2010 (UTC)
The article mentions him being possibly based on General George Patton. I have noticed what appears to be a holster for a revolver on his right hip. It looks too long and slim to be an N99, and Patton was famous for his revolver. The Emporer 03:46, November 18, 2010 (UTC)
