funny deaths

confessor is probably one of the easiest characters to kill. experiment with this man. he can be a fun factor sitting right in front of you. what is your choice: nuke, plasma, fire, sledgehammer, alien stuff, etc. sure, you can try this on other people but they will be running and fighting back. so this is more for inexperienced players.--That70sdude 00:19, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

Yes! I punched him until he has only like 2 lifepoints, then i throw a grenade to his face... without V.A.T.S, a grenade does 1-3 damage when throwed directly to an enemy. what happened then: He died BEFORE the grenade exploded!

I gave him some Tesla armor to wear =3. Hessen 03:58, 15 January 2009 (UTC)

well did he wear it. --That70sdude 00:19, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

SOmething funny happened to me,i planted a frag grenade onto hi,then walked to the bras slantern bar, minute later,he didnt go boom,i walked up in front of him and he exploded, sending his legless corpse upwards into the sky,,he then exploded a few more time, untill there was bits of him everywhere and all his limbs were off,i then left he area grinning

i returned an in game year later to find his corpse ahad rearranged and was still preaching, seeing this i detonated the bomb (using console commands to reset a lot of things) and laughed as the force of the bomb killed mister burke and tenpenny out of recoil force Werewolfhell 18:08, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

Added reference to Oliver Cromwell. Might seem un-neccessary (because it's so obvious), but still, it's info.

--Dwfuji 16:23, 14 May 2009 (UTC)

correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the church of atom's belief that they should all be blown up to have their atoms split? So Cromwell isn't referring to being mutated by the bomb.

Radiation Immunity

"Also, since Cromwell spends all of his time in the radiation water, it will not take many hits to kill him.

Considering he spends the majority of his time in a pool of iradiated water, one has to wonder how he doesn't succumb to radiation poisoning."

Confessor Cromwell is actually immune to radiaton! Using the G.E.C.K. one can discover his RadImmunity at the NPC's Actor Effect List. I added it to the article.

GECK GECK GECK! stop with this crap, it's obvious that a man who stands all the time in radiation will be weaked, and the immunity is only because he shouldn't die!

The GECK knows all because the geico gecko is inside it.--Kirby888 22:18, November 6, 2009 (UTC)

One also has to wonder how he hasn't become a Ghoul AzureSN 02:30, January 11, 2010 (UTC)

The Confessor's or rather The Church's Terminal

First edit! After hacking the terminal in the church for a little negative karma you find out at the last entry that he had been contemplating blowing the bomb himself. Though he doesn't do it, there is reason to believe that he is behind Mr. Burke getting in there and having his home. The leader of the church as you know can bring people in. It was probably a combination between a "donation" from Tenpenny, and Cromwell's blessing. But most of this is assumption up to the point that he was involved with them. If anyone agrees edit the page to add that little tid bit. Seems more likely right? --Adam Boozer LBHOH 17:47, 1 August 2009 (UTC)

Cromwell gone?

On my game I realized Cromwell is nowhere to be found. Now I have no one to give caps to if I need a karma boost (though I have plenty of pure water). Is this a known issue? I know there are reports of some megaton citizens disappearing. Is cromwell one of them? - 02:03, February 2, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, He dissapears.Pittsburgh Phil 02:12, February 2, 2010 (UTC)

Hi, I'm the same poster on another computer. I followed Recovering NPCs and found cromwell under springvale. - 21:01, February 6, 2010 (UTC)

Why a hypocrite

I'm just wondering why Cromwell is listed as a "hypocrite", thanks.-user: SABOTAGE99

Removed. Thanks for pointing that out.--Gothemasticator 04:53, June 26, 2010 (UTC)
No problem, glad to help the wikia. :) -- user: SABOTAGE99
I think that is because he has a gun and alcohol in his "office" in the church, when they are supposed to be non-violent and sober. Big McLargeHuge 05:03, June 26, 2010 (UTC)
Doesn't matter. "Hypocrite" is not a role, as it was listed in the infobox.--Gothemasticator 05:33, June 26, 2010 (UTC)
