Why, exactly? — A (tc) 02:02, July 28, 2015 (UTC)

All image galleries' captions are set to default / align-left. Please stop trying to make them centered. Great Mara (talk) 01:59, July 28, 2015 (UTC)
For uniformity with other pages on the wiki. Great Mara (talk) 02:05, July 28, 2015 (UTC)
That's a better reason than the one I thought you were going to use, but it's still flawed. As long as it's not in your policy and up for review, it's available for change. — A (tc) 02:09, July 28, 2015 (UTC)

Healing Limbs?[]

I was fighting the Savage Deathclaw in the Museum of Witchcraft and couldn't cripple it's legs properly. I could cripple one, but if I took cover to get a sneak attack in it would apparently heal the damage to it's broken leg. Anybody else see something like this?--Est Nikkas Oth Mithas (talk) 15:01, December 17, 2015 (UTC)

Instant Kill regardless of health or no?[]

I hear some players were concerned that Deathclaws in Fallout 4 could instantly kill the player, but weren't sure if it could happen regardless of HP or if it only happened if the Sole Survivor was one Deathclaw slash away from death. This sort of information could help improve the page slightly. Thieverpedia (talk) 21:41, December 20, 2015 (UTC)

Damage Variance[]

Is there any way to compare the damage received by different parts of its body in the game files. A Savage Deathclaw seemed to take a good deal more damage from belly shots than headshots. Great Mara (talk) 23:40, February 18, 2016 (UTC)

Seems to be indeed the case. FO4edit shows for DeathclawBodyPartData (0001db4d) that the head has a damage multiplier of 1, but the belly one of 2. Other none-1 mulipliers are 0.5 for tail and 0.33 for body. --Alfwyn (talk) 09:56, February 19, 2016 (UTC)

Origin With the Master[]

I'm tempted to remove the following line but wanted to ask thoughts first:

Despite their apparent origin with the Master, deathclaws were a relatively common sight in 2102 Appalachia.

This is contradicted by the paragraph immediately before which states that Deathclaws were originally developed by the military, and only further enhanced by the Master. I'm not clear what the original intent of the above line was, but it doesn't make any sense in its present form given the history of the Deathclaws as genetically engineered weapons, as it is perfectly possible for them to be in Appalachia as well as a result. -- Haravikk (talk) 16:17, March 13, 2019 (UTC)

That's a plot hole. Besides, it wasn't really explained anyway why the Master created them but didn't use them, either. ☢ Energy X ☣ 18:53, March 13, 2019 (UTC)
Which part is the plot hole? The note that were made by the Master, by the military, or that they appear in Appalachia? Because if they were made by the military then their appearance in Appalachia is surely okay? -- Haravikk (talk) 19:08, March 13, 2019 (UTC)

Deathclaw Rage[]

Is this an active perk among deathclaws, cut or specific instances? Great Mara (talk) 18:46, July 26, 2020 (UTC)
