well imho you have got to be joking with this perk. at this level.. its just not worth it.. it feels like bethesda should have made this perk available at level 2 and even then you may as well just sleep at megaton or take swift learner.

but its good for roleplayers i guess.. who want to rough it in the wastes and get to 30 quicker.. hmmm.TheRepublicOfDave 02:12, 7 May 2009 (UTC)

Just noticed something

In the picture Vault Boy is sleeping on a bed of nails. Anyone else see this?

I do too; that's pretty funny. Too bad perk is crap.-- 06:52, 9 August 2009 (UTC)

8 hours?

Article says Well Rested status is granted for 8 hours after sleeping in any bed. In the Well Rested article it says that the effect last for 12 hours after sleeping in an owned bed. Which is it with this perk, 8 or 12? (Even though nobody cares because this perk is granted too late in the game). V.A.T.S. addict 23:40, 9 August 2009 (UTC)

Getting the "Well Rested" status effect requires you to sleep for 8 hours in a bed you own (or any bed with this perk). The status effect lasts for 12 hours after you wake up. That's where you're seeing 8 hours and 12 hours. -Super Duper Mutant 07:12, December 10, 2009 (UTC)

You definitely don't have to sleep for 8 hours in a bed you own (I don't know if it's true that you do for sleeping in an unowned bed for 8 hours, that seems dubious to me. I've also heard it only applies to queen beds). But the text on this page, and I think the text of the perk itself, says that the effect of Deep Sleep specifically lasts 8 hours. Is that incorrect? - 01:17, February 3, 2010 (UTC)

Not Nails\Spikes!

They're the mattress' springs.

I dunno, they look pretty damn sharp. Nitty 20:04, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

^^ haha good point 19:14, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

I'm pretty sure they're nails, with the illustration implying that you can get restful slumber no matter where you sleep. Even on nails. Super Duper Mutant 03:20, January 8, 2010 (UTC)
