Talk:Fallout 3 derived statistics
Is it appropriate to refer to Unarmed as a derived statistic? The Derived Statistic page says that they are byproducts of the primary stats, the SPECIAL points, but unarmed is increased by the unarmed skill.
I assume it's there because of the second part of that page's description, about them being values that the player can't directly get, but it still seems a bit contradictory.

- I've noticed this before, but pretty much all of Fallout 3 is contradictory to things that were established in previous Fallouts. For simplicity, it's a derived statistic since you can't change it outside of leveling up or taking a temporary magazine (if this was FNV that is). It's fine as is, and we even mention that not all derived statistics are affected by SPECIAL anymore on the Derived statistic overview. Shadowrunner(stuff) 03:49, 1 December 2015 (UTC)
