EugeneT 11:05, 13 January 2009 (UTC)Update today for the 360 version I just got it when I started the game 5:00 Central Time. Not sure what is affected.

Do you perhaps know what the version number of the update is? Ausir 11:38, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
It's a Xbox360 update. I dont believe that they come in version no.'s. I've heard rumors about this being the preperation to the DLC. Hessen 12:16, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
It's multiplatform and does have a version number. See: Fallout 3 patch 1.1. Ausir 12:41, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

but is it the patch for the upcoming dlc?--King of the wastes 12:44, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

Unknown. Ausir 12:58, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

Can anyone add information on how to download the patch through live on the PC? I've tried in-game and also the site, but I have no idea! Thanks 15:21, 13 January 2009 (UTC) Matt

It seems as though there is a new patch out today. Any info?

Is there any other way to get the game patched then paying for a live account? I pre-ordered the Operation: Anchorage and Broken Steel DLC on disc instead of an account - does it come with the patches?Kalaong 13:49, 10 May 2009 (UTC)

Should we use to replace 1.7?- By Dr.Xen 04:44, November 24, 2009 (UTC)

Xbox 360 patch?

What exactly did the patch do? The Bethesda Fallout 3 website does not list the update notes.... Achilles308 21:50, 19 April 2009 (UTC)

Weak Patches

Does anyone know why Bethesda is so afraid of putting actual fixes into their patches? It's not like they're a mystery, given the fan-made patch. PositronicSpleen 13:46, 20 April 2009 (UTC)

Probably because there's no need. Both fallout and oblivion got virtually all their fixes from fan patches, while problems hard coded into the game were fixed by bethesda. Why stifle the communties creativity by releasing what they already made? DragonJTS 15:38, 29 April 2009 (UTC)

Patching bugs is not "creative". And how does it help people who don't play on the PC? PositronicSpleen 19:42, 10 May 2009 (UTC)

Patch 1.6 on Xbox 360

this patch as not yet been released on the Xbox 360, please stop saying it is. Ranger1991 02:52, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

say if i downloaded the newest (v1.7) patch and run it, does it include all the previous patches that have been released up to date as well? or do i have to track down every single one of them and apply them in order?

No, you just need the latest one

will there be any more patches because I would very much like a patch that when you kill a hostile with a plasma or lazor rifle the goo or ash pile disapears from the game after 72 ingame hours like bodies do when you kill them. Other wise the entire capital waste land will be full of plasma and ash piles.--MangooseGod 14:38, January 10, 2010 (UTC)

Sorry, there won't be any more patches. Bethesda is no Valve. Go to Fallout3Nexus to track down some patches for PC. Nitty Tok. 14:44, January 10, 2010 (UTC)
