Find Friends in the wasteland[]

Got a new objective recently "Find 9 friends in the Wasteland" with Petbox as reward. Sent out a High-C dweller and got 1/9 by helping an injured slave. If some1 else get this objective and finds other events that score to this then tell it here plz.

So far (translation into english may be not proper but I hope the meaning is clear):

> helping injured slaves

> helping injured sheriff

> trading with traveling merchant

> talk with group of slaves that kill their masters

> help a hunter killing a Yao Guai

> recieve food from a fat man

> help lost farmer finding his way back home

Some of these events I never seen before, so high value in C is very effective to that objective

Find the Mysterious Stranger[]

Once I have got a "Find the Mysterious Stranger 3 times" objective, but I don't remember the reward, and the exact wording is not sure... :( MGM (talk) 23:27, December 22, 2015 (UTC)

FallOut Shelter Objectives Repeat?[]

Is anyone aware if objectives would be seen again if you skipped it for the day? I couldn't find on the page of the wiki that the missions skipped would come back again. I haven't seen them come again after I've skipped them, but if other people have, I reckon it would help to know.

I'm not sure. Ill start documenting the ones I've skipped and keep a look out. it'd be interesting to know :D Willhelm 55 (talk) 04:13, January 19, 2016 (UTC)
I can confirm objective categories can, at the very least, repeat within a day. I regularly skip pregnancy/delivery/dancing objectives, and I do remember the frustration I'd experienced at one point when, after clearing a "deliver [n] babies" objective at the start of the day, I'd ended up with a "deliver [t] babies" at the end of the day. I think the values themselves (and associated rewards) were different, tho. --TheWalrusTranscendent (talk) 14:19, April 7, 2016 (UTC)

Survive Without RadAways[]

Objectives quest FShelter

To survive radiation...

Ran into this one today... Don't know yet whether you need to have a 29h run straight through or if it can be done in increments.

On Survival Mode, so I'm not experimenting! ^^;

EDIT: My lone explorer was out doing his thing when I got this and despite not using RadAways during his hours out, made no progress towards the goal. Might be an initialization issue, will update when I send'im out again!

EDIT 2: Ended up experimenting anyway.

The Dweller must be sent to explore with zero RadAways in their inventory, or the objective will not initialize. The objective will reset to zero if they are recalled.

Not feeling comfortable enough with the wiki to mess with the table, so if somebody could please add it in? ^^;

I can't find the internal link for junk items.[]

I can't seem to find the internal link for Fallout Shelter Junk Items to have the first objective relating to it link back to that page.

Hey, found the link and added it to the table. Armett (talk) 22:38, 12 March 2021 (UTC)

Objective categories[]

I have been adding objectives to the table for the past few days and I think that now, with over 500 rows, the table is too big and should be broken down into various categories. I think following categories would be most efficient for categorisation:

- dwellers (assigning, delivering babies, having bald/pregnant..., customising, dancing, levelling up, raising SPECIAL, happiness)

- weapons (crafting, equipping, scrapping, selling)

- outfits (crafting, equipping, scrapping, selling)

- caps (finding in wasteland, earning in vault, finding on quests)

- stimpaks (collecting)

- junk (collecting, selling)

- food (collecting, collecting under 1 minute)

- water (collecting, collecting under 1 minute)

- power (collecting, collecting under 1 minute)

- quests (collecting from containers, completing q. from overseer's office, completing q. in wasteland, exploring locations in wasteland, sending to wasteland, exploring wasteland, making friends, winning battles)

- mysterious stranger (finding)

- creatures (killing in wasteland, killing without weapon, critical hits)

- rooms (merging, upgrading, rushing, stopping incidents, surviving deathclaw/ghoul/radscorpion/mole rat attacks)

If anyone has any ideas please edit this list to make it better and add a note with what you've changed. Armett (talk) 22:27, 12 March 2021 (UTC)
