Molotov cocktail[edit source]

It should be noted that this is a reskin of the Molotov cocktail cut from FO3. Cannibalbrane 03:22, May 18, 2011 (UTC)

Not really as this is a different game and it's common for developers to reskin things. So all in all it's not notable.--Kingclyde 03:36, May 18, 2011 (UTC)
I disagree. If anything it should be noted on the FO3 molotov cocktail page. Cannibalbrane 03:42, May 18, 2011 (UTC)
It makes no sense to note it on the FO3 page. Why would that tidbit be of any interest to a FO3 player. Basically you are saying "Hey, there is a newer game that uses the same texture as an item you don't have without console commands." Not elpful to anyone.--Kingclyde 03:46, May 18, 2011 (UTC)
That is your opinion, and I strongly disagree. Cannibalbrane 03:47, May 18, 2011 (UTC)
And it is a opinion that I happen to agree with, especially when it isn't a reskin. User:AvatarUser talk:Avatar 22:59, May 20, 2011 (UTC)
On actual inspection it is a different bottle, yes, but the rag's a reskin. Suggestion withdrawn. Cannibalbrane 03:53, June 28, 2011 (UTC)

COD WaW[edit source]

I noticed that this is lit and thrown in the same way as a molotov when playing the rusians in WaW. Not noteworthy but I felt like mentioning it nonetheless. JerichoRCDF 14:57, May 19, 2011 (UTC)

That's just how a molotov cocktail works. You light the cloth and throw, how different can the two animations be? Anyway, I haven't done a side by side comparison, but I'm pretty sure it just uses the same throwing animation as dynamite.--WouldYouKindly 17:52, May 21, 2011 (UTC)

Is it me or...[edit source]

Is it kind of stupid for merchants to sell 'em, looks more like a crafting item. Empty bottle (1)+flamer fuel (20)=BURN, LOSERS!!!

-- I agree, i was suprised they didn't allow you to craft your own Molotovs. Consider all the other stupid things they added to the crafting lists in the DLC. "Convert pots and pans to scrap metal" What!?

yeah, you have to go with mods if you want to craft it. modders FTW 69.140.35.147 12:28, May 29, 2011 (UTC)

-- No, not this "Mods will fix everything" "lol, Pc Master race" bullshit! Some things are ment to be there in the first place. As an example, i work as a chef and what you are saying is that i should throw a raw steak at a customer and tell him to fuck off and cook it himself. Just no.

Granted. I would find that somewhat humorous to watch. Great Mara 20:38, May 29, 2011 (UTC)

Fire Bombs ineffective[edit source]

Fire bombs fucking suck. I just wanted to share my opinion with you guys Thanks.

Interesting, because this page isn't about opinions, it's about improving the article in question. Don't do it again. --User:Cartman!User talk:Cartman! 19:00, July 25, 2011 (UTC)

From my experience they require a high level player to do any significant damage on anything other than Spore Carriers and Giant Plants and ideally with certain damage boosting perks. Feral Ghouls also suffer alot of damage with these. Of course if this was found earlier in the game AND you could craft them I could see them being substantially more useful.
