Not Replaceable?[]
I wrote that you don't have to carry the Geomapper around - just get it out of your locker when going to see Reilly. I also tried getting rid of my Geomapper (I sold it) and getting another from Reilly to see if she'd pay for new locations even then - but she's not offering me another one. This is with the PC. I see someone wrote there's also no replacement with the 360. Can someone confirm whether she replaced it for you on the PC? -RedKnight7 17:05, 5 January 2009 (UTC)

- When you first get it, she says, "Here, take this geomapper. Please don't lose it. Donovan spent a year developing it and I only have a few." GECK also shows these responses for Reilly under MS18FinLostGeomapper:
- "That's okay, here's another. Just be careful, they don't grow on trees you know."
- "Okay, but I only have two left. So try and be more careful."
- "Well, this is the last one I have. If you lose this, you're shit out of luck."
- "Like I told you last time, the last one I gave you was it. I am fresh out of them. Sorry."
- Also, of course, the wiki page says she'll replace it if you sell or lose it. But I only have the option to give her map data, at which point she says, "without the Geomapper, I can't get the data from your Pipboy. Where the heck is it?" No options for getting another one.

I have the Playstation 3 version, and I lost my Geomapper a long time ago, she hasn't given me another one, and there aren't any dialogue options to get one. I've been in and out of the Ranger Compound and all over the Wasteland since I lost it, and i've had the game for over a year, so I honestly can't remember where it is or what I did with it... Any help would be appreciated.
- These notes were obviously added by someone who just looked at the dialogue for MS18 in the GECK. At first it seems that you get 3 replacements (unless you're not reading carefully, then you may think there are only two replacements.) But when you look for a line that actually links to this player response (MS18FinLostGeomapper) You'll find there is none, so this is/was bogus info. --84.152.239.220 21:50, June 1, 2012 (UTC)
- Running GOTY version of the PC game and no replacement Geomapper is issued - but you can open up the fallout.esm file in the GECK software provided and make Riley issue another unit.
Add-on locations[]
Does the Geomapper module record locations from add-on packs as well, or just the Capital Wasteland?

How much?[]
On this page, it says you'll get 20 caps for each location, but on Geomapping with Reilly it says you'll get 30, so which is it.--96.26.129.246 01:38, October 6, 2011 (UTC)
