XL70E3, Ak47, assault rifle Chinese assault? What do you wanna see in this pack? I hope for awsome original weapons from past fallout games, and maybe some of the ones that were cut in production :)

I wanna see my precious desert eagle again. With an expanded magazine and a laser sight. I want a .50 cal machine gun like the browning M2 from Fallout tactics. Pipe Rifle? What the hell do you think the varmit rifle is based off of?

Pretty sure the "Unique Anti-Material Rifle" is the Bozar.

? Maybe, but that would mean having to replace in game schematics (Which are currently unusable) and put in ones to make the sign. But it still could be possible

How about a Jet Pack? I know fast travel is already possible but it would be still be fun exploring new places and flying over Freesides walls straight on to the strip. Also I want random encounters to return. Everything feels so scripted no matter where you go. I hope not. There was something I remember from the break between Dead Money and Honest Hearts where the developers said that there were 5 planned DLC Add-ons and 2 possible others. I am of the mind that the 2 were something awesome like visiting California or the Capital Wasteland, and not getting some awesome new weapons, but I believe in Santa Claws (he's a Deathclaw). They are adding common variants of unique weapons like that Gun and This machine so we may see mods for them. But still i want a Hunting rifle silencer for a real assassin rifle combination

So, any clue on how the new weapons are acquired?

"It increases the range of unique weapons, weapon mods, ammo types and recipes waiting to be uncovered in the Mojave Wasteland." So, what exactly does "waiting to be uncovered" mean? It looks like they are all accuired by buying them from vendors. I guess the title means that the Gun Runners made some unique weapons avaiable and you can now purchase them from anyone or from specific vendors in the Mojave. serose814:20, August 29, 2011 (UTC)

Gun runners will sell ammo arch types and common variants of unique model weapons like that gun and this machine. As for the others im guessing you'll find em, build them and hopefully it'll add new mojave wasteland characters and locations but i doubt it. Also some other vendors than the gun runners like the bos, vann graffs, Ncr and caravans will probly have them in stock. But will they be placed in Npc inventories, like fiends and NCR troopers?

I'm pretty curious about this too. I'm hoping most won't be sold by vendors, since they can be killed and the weapons will be lost forever. I'm guessing most will be sold by Vendortron, and others will be found in different places.--Jolipinator 17:29, September 25, 2011 (UTC)

Assault Rifles?

I'm just looking forward to something like the Chinese Assault Rifle from F3, with lesser spread. Anyone know of any Assault Rifles like this? The only thing similar I've heard is the Bozar which is a scoped MG I think and the unique Assault Carbine. --Deus Gladiorum 13:38, September 2, 2011 (UTC)

The Chinese Assault Rifle was basically a Chinese variant of the Avtomat Kalishnikov series. If in the current game they included a weapon variant based off the ArmaLite AR-15 series, then they should really include a weapon like the Chinese Assault Rifle. Idk if there's gonna be anything like that, but I know there will be a unique variant of the Assault Carbine. Chinese pistol, chinese assault rifle, R91 assault rifle, katana, infiltrator, Lincolms repeaters...just about every F3 weapon is present in the New Vegas game files, so its entirely possible that they'll just recicle a load of them and stick on some mods. However this would be a bit of a fail on obsidian's part as well its been down a dozen times already by modders. ...As have all the weapons listed by Mat Mod been created a dozen times over by modders too. Seems everyone wants and agrees that there should be an assault rifle of some kind to appear, i wouldn't mind a unique R91 appearing, man did i love using the one i was able to bring back from operation anchorage (thanks gary 23!). Actually, lots of people collect these swords. In a post-apocalyptic setting, it is only a matter of time until someone discovers that kind of quite durable weapon and uses it as it needs no ammo to scavange for. Against unarmed (eg. no guns) beasts and the like, I would surely prefer this kinda weapon over a metal pipe.Noctarius 15:26, September 27, 2011 (UTC)

No. Lots of people collect what they THINK is a katana. The vast majority are just cheaply made oversized cutlery for decorative effect. Metal pipes don't snap as easily. =)

Increased Level Cap?

Does Gun Runners increase the level cap?

Anyone know if the gun runners DLC is going to up the level cap like the other DLCs? That new Mad Bomber perk sounds great; but I'm wondering if I should hold off on leveling up so I can get it.

Question 3. Why do people play any games on console?

There are a lot of reason (everybody seems to have their own), but one of those is financial. Some people can't afford to drop $1,000+ dollars (or equivalent currency) on a computer that can run games well, so buying an Xbox or some other console is a sounder financial move. Then, consider that there are a large amount of games (which are good) that are exclusively released on consoles, and the relatively small quantity of (good, graphically intensive) games available only on the PC, and the prospect of playing games on a console and is even more appealing. --Danaw167 01:23, September 29, 2011 (UTC)

Pretty Expensive...

I'm all for earning what we pay for, but some of these weapons exceed over 21,000 caps. Just too expensive, kind of a bit of a middle finger considering I paid $4.00 to be financially locked out. This pretty much makes me wanna find a infinite cap glitch. --ToUniek 16:58, September 27, 2011 (UTC)

Granted, 21,000 + caps is a little expensive, especially seeing as they aren’t really all that great of a weapon compared to others. The Medicine stick for example, only has a slightly increased damage (+6 dam) over a standard Brush gun. It’s a decent increase, but hardly worth 21,000 + caps.

As far as caps go, its really not that hard to make a lot of caps fast in this game. I don’t know how far along you are, but if you at a higher level one trip up black mountain should easily net you 20,000 caps worth of weapons to sell.

What I don’t get is the ones that are exactly the same as the regular weapons. For example, the 12.7 mm SMG vs. the 12.7 mm SMG (GRA) version. The Anti-Material rifle and Assault Carbine are the same as well. Its exactly the same weapon so what’s the point of them? ReapTheChaos 17:57, September 27, 2011 (UTC)

I found a glitch using the Commissary in Lonesome Road, up to 100,000 caps now. Just kept reselling and buying Riot Gear at half the price for full profit. --ToUniek 21:25, September 28, 2011 (UTC)

Getting caps is trivial. I'm sitting at over 380,000 of 'em, every single one of which is legit, and I don't even madly hoard every tin can and wrench in the wastes! Protip: Sell ammo and chems. They weigh absolutely nothing and sell for quite a bit. I'm the best at space!

Doesn't match up

I'm counting like 24 NEW weapons (not counting the GRA weapons, they aren't new) and 30 weapon mods. Where is the rest? Have some weapons not been found yet? Only 1 silenced weapon?

I might have missed something but apparently the only guns in the GRA you can silence are the GRA Anti-Material Rifle and the GRA 12.7mm Sub Machine Gun, and apparently the silencer on the GRA Anti-Material Rifle's silencer DOESN'T EVEN SILENCE IT! (According to its wikia page). So really out of this whole pack, theres only 1 stealth weapon? What a joke... 18:18, September 27, 2011 (UTC)

No, as I said, I was about 20 ft. away. If you’re getting that close to someone why would you use a sniper rifle to kill them anyway? Also I didn’t do in depth tests on it, I just messed around for a couple minutes with it. I snuck up near a powder ganger and fired the suppressed version, he didn’t notice. I reloaded my save and did the same with the unsuppressed one, he was immediately alerted. I tried each way a few times and got the same results each time. The Holorifle if fully modded is ridiculously powerful. I sneak attacked Ghost of She with it using overcharged mf cells and killed it in two shots. The first shot took it down to one tick of health, given I had 100 energy weapons skill. The GRA AMR has a suppressor mod, not a silencer mod. The difference is that it doesn't completely silence the AMR, it just lessens the noise (like in real life there's no such thing as silencers, just suppressors). So in other words, at range they still wont hear a thing, but if you're too close and you shoot it, prepare for that [Danger] icon to flash. --Deus Gladiorum 00:32, September 28, 2011 (UTC)

GRA Katana at ?Mick and ralphs?

I have not yet gotten the GRA DLC, but i see that the katana is not purchaseable from the gun runners, but in stead you have to buy it at mick and ralphs.... Whats up with that? I mean because the DLC is called GUN RUNNER'S ARSENAL all the weapons should be art the gun runner's.

Your source is incorrect. The gun runner robot has katana and katana mods in its inventory shuffle. As do other vendors.

Obsidian loves screwing people over. Better take your hate out on PC players who can use the console and GECK to create things for themselves, fix corrupted saves or cheat if they really feel like it. Why would you expect all the weapons to be available at Gun Runner's? It's not like the name of the mod is GUN RUNNER's ARSENAL. In Fallout you're so free to act however you want, except you aren't.

Obsidian hasn't done anything wrong... There was no reason to kill Mick & Ralph, it was never part of a quest, and Microsoft is the one who is all "Anti-Mod". Obsidian and Bethesda has never tried to stop people from modding their games on the console, its an extremely easy game to mod. If you knew what you were doing, you can actually spawn Mick & Ralph on xbox. When i'm bored i go to a damn casino and drop some Alphamale Deathclaws from my inventory and they tear shit up. Theres a challenge for killing Caesar, but i've already killed him. All i need to do is use my mod tool, and lets say i have a coffee mug in my inventory or something. Use this wikia and go to Caesar's page, and replace the base id of the coffee mug with Caesar's base id. Start up the game, he will be in my inventory with an invalid picture. Waiting for Base IDS...

Yep... Waiting for people to update this damn site so i can mod my gamesave and get all the items from GRA that i want, i could go to Gun Runners and buy the stuff but thats too much work and i doubt they have 10000 rounds of each ammo type. The "(GRA)" Suffix

I know that this page is for discussing how to improve the page itself, but before Cartman hits me on my fingers i need to get my opinion out.

Before the DLC was released Bergman said that stock weapons added to the game that was there before but with new mods was going to have the "(GRA)" suffix added to thier names so that players didn't get confused. That is understandble. But explain to me why EVERY SINGLE WEAPON added by this DLC bears this suffix, when it's highly unecessary? New weapons like the Sleepytyme(GRA), Bozar(GRA) or katana(GRA) don't need it it since how are we supossed to get confused? Call me a whiny faggot, but when a cool weapon like "Embrace of the Mantis King!" is called in-game "Embrace of the Mantis King! (GRA)" It kinda both ruins the joke and the immersion. Couldn't they just kept the notification in the effects menu of each weapon?

GRA Chainsaw's Weapon Mods have incorrect Base ID's

It just replaced the "normal" powder charge in my crafting list after I installed GRA: it's just a normal powder charge (same damage, weight, appearance), but it requires 1 less dynamite stick to be crafted at a workbench and doesn't require the mad bomber perk like other explosives introduced with GRA. while i have earned ALL my achievements on FNV, the gamer score hasn't added. if you wish to check, my account is Nekuth, if you check on xbox.com, it says i haven't earned 4 of them, however, checking on the xbox itself, it says i've earned them, but the score isn't added, my gamerscore should be 7505

Missing weapon entry: Cleansing Flame

There's a weapon missing from the list on the main Gun Runners Arsenal page. Cleansing Flame, the new flamer. There is a page for it on the wiki, but it doesn't appear to be linked from anywhere. I had to search for it specifically, and I only knew it was missing because I read a post on Bethesda's blog detailing the weapons in this add-on.-- 15:40, September 30, 2011 (UTC)

Van Graffs

Okay so, I know the weapons/mods exclusive to the Silver Rush are supposed to appear in the Vendortron's inventory upon their death, but even after I killed them all, nothing happened. It's the 3rd time the Gun Runners' inventory resets, and still nothing. 3 unique weapons missed because some dumbass thought it was a good idea to give weapons to someone else, someone we need to kill/get hostile for 2 quests. Yeah, right. Thank you so much.

Removed the 'fixed' part of the achivements, i did the 10k damage with GRA weapons, from 0, and it didn't sort the achievement out, HOWEVER! i didn't do the game online, will have to try that again

I got all the add-ons at once so I can play them with GRA weapons, first I got all the GRA achievments then the next day I played Honest Hearts and they reset, the challenges were still complete and bfore they reset they added to my total gamerscore but it said # out of 70 instead of 75 achievments unlocked, after they reset it said # out of 75 unlocked. Unlimited Mini-Nukes from Gun Runners?

I've noticed that the special nukes seem to respawn for me from the Vendortron. It may just be a bug, but if that is the case, it would be worth noting in the Triva and possibly the Mini Nuke, Fat Man and Eugene pages. 18:50, October 2, 2011 (UTC)

Well, I was attacked by a king who I accidentally hit with a shot, and then I had to kill him, then all of Freeside went after me, including Mick and Ralph. So, I had to kill them.

I completed a couple ★, and ★★ challenges on the PS3, and I haven't received any trophies at all. I even started a new profile, completed a challenge and still haven't gotten one. I've tried reverting to an older save on both profiles and nothing was fixed. Is this a similar problem that the 360 has and can this be fixed?


As of the release Version of GRA, ALL the NEW Mods aren't showing WHAT exactly they do to the Weapons, so one can't tell what the hell "Ripper carbide teeth" or "Improved Bolt for the AM-Rifle" or them Powerfist Parts actually do, only some of the new Parts have vanilla counterparts that one can use to 'assume' what the new GRA Mods do.

On the other hand, when I was under Level 16, installed GRA and went to Vendortron, it had all the GRA Weapons in the List, so needless to say that (way to early) I was running about with a AM-Rifle (GRA), pwning them Deathclaws. Well, also gotta say that I play on VERY HARD and HARDCORE, so getting a AM-Rifle below Level 16 is totally worth the money and helpfull.-- 01:43, October 13, 2011 (UTC)

Energy Weapon Equivalent?

I'm not sure if this is the place for speculation, but any ideas on whether or not Bethesda will release Van Graff equivalent to GRA? It'd be nice to have some unique laser/plasma rifles laying about for me to pick up, since the EN weapon selection is rather limited, understandably so, since EN weapons were primarily military weapons.

Anyway, thoughts?

No, they will not. I forget exactly where this was said, so if someone could provide the source it would be appreciated, but they are done with New Vegas. There will be no more DLC or patches (a shame, considering that GRA has flaws that need patching). Freezing more frequently

Since I purchased the GRA on the 360 my games have been freezing much more often, like every other door at Hoover Dam. I'm at the New California Republic Correctional Facility and to get in I use the outhouse trick, and to get out I jump over the fences from the towers instead of going through the entrance building. I have to save at every fucking door now because it doesn't get to the auto save point when you're on the other side, it just turns black before the loading screen if I recall correctly.
