Temporary effects?[edit source]

I get the message "holy water has worn off." So I drink another bottle and check the effects pipboy screen and nothing shows up. Anyone know what temporary effects it might have? Jdw 23:43, 9 May 2009 (UTC)

Read the talk page for Aqua Pura. Something to do with FEV. Fat Man Spoon 23:45, 9 May 2009 (UTC)

I don't think that the holy water bug is the same bug because I no longer get the "aqua pura has worn off" message, but I still get the "holy water has worn off" message. It only happens right after a load, either from fast traveling or starting the game... and it doesn't happen every time, so it's an odd bug indeed. 72.235.91.236 19:42, 14 May 2009 (UTC)

Happened to me twice on a row after drinking single bottle, then no more. I did not notice any effects.
It's told me about 4 or 5 times now that it's wore off, I've only ever drank one bottle of the stuff. Edit: Seems it doesn't only happen on loads and fast travels, i was in my megaton house for about 5 minutes before it wore off again, no idea that's up with this. it radiates you by 15, so maybe each time you lose 15 rads it "wears off". i have the rad absorption perk, so I'm constantly losing rads. I've detoxed myself at my house though, so maybe that'll help. -Silent
Detoxifying didn't help. I still keep randomly getting the "Holy Water Has Worn Off" message. dusty_duster 18:14, October 9, 2009 (UTC)
-I have also encountered this bug. I only drank it once so Gerard would talk to me, and I keep getting a message saying "Holy Water has worn off". I have detoxified and removed all rads, and as expected that didn't stop it. Also I did not put the FEV in the water tank. I gave it to Elder Lyons.

Hey, what happens to Micky?[edit source]

The doomed water beggar is titled "Water Beggar". Where's Micky? Nitpicker of the Wastes 19:46, 7 June 2009 (UTC)

You killed him (Nasty person you!) and the game simply replaced him. Fat Man Spoon 19:50, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
Nonono. Let Micky live in quiet pain and solitude until you activate the purifier, then come back and watch Rosa. The beggar isn't Micky. It's Beggar. Nitpicker of the Wastes 19:53, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
I wouldn't know, Micky just disappeared on me. Fat Man Spoon 19:59, 7 June 2009 (UTC)

Holy Water[edit source]

I know how to make holy water you boil the hell out of it!Deg Breth7

This would be called Holy water vapor

That would be called missing the joke. Kris (talk)
Now, seriously: if she is just irradiating Aqua Pura (without FEV, of course), where is the point in it? I mean, take normal, not cleaned water. Why do you have to use water without any kind of radiation and then irradiate it, when there is enough water that is already irradiated? And don't say she wants nothing apart from radiation in it, that stuff looks like it already was in a body and came out again. 94.220.214.112 11:31, July 28, 2010 (UTC)
Drill a borehole into the side of a hill and collect some groundwater from within the hole (well). Now, let some groundwater seep out the side of the hill and collect it. The latter is "spring water"...no different from groundwater except perhaps a little dirtier. But people will pay more for it. People are irrational. Faran Brygo 04:28, September 29, 2010 (UTC)
