i dont know how to edit pages and dont want to mess anything up, but i believe the proper last name for this person (on my version at least) is Nash. MathiasSlim 01:26, October 20, 2010 (UTC)

Wonder what's up with the info this guy gives you about a courier who stepped down so the main character would get the job... Doesn't seem like such a big deal for a DLC, though maybe DLC for NV will be more story-inspired than Fallout 3's more "standalone" DLC... --Penumbra 01:40, November 11, 2010 (UTC)

I was also wondering who he was talking about. A DLC for it sounds pretty likely though. -anon 11/11/10

From what can be assumed of Canyon Wreckage, he'll probably be the focal character of a DLC starting there. --Ray-The-Sun EEE EEE EEEEE THERE AIN'T NO E IN AN E CAN'T YA SEE!

Johnson Nash - Johnny Cash?[]

Come on...

The dude's black, he is wasting away as a lowly trader, and his wife makes odd wasteland meals... The relations between the two are purely name based and almost none even in that perspective. --FLaSHBaCK HaSH 01:13, January 19, 2011 (UTC)

Maybe its supposed to be related to John Nash, the Mathematician that won a Nobel Prize for his work in economics. The guy that Russel Crowe played in "Beautiful mind."24.21.183.122 23:58, March 16, 2011 (UTC)

Impossible to pickpocket.[]

I've tried everything, and this son of a ***** is un-pickpocketable. I have my 100 stealth char and when he is sleeping I try and take his caps, and he catches me everytime. I even use a stealthboy and un-equip all my items, and he still catches me if I try. Is this another of this games billion bugs? 81.206.246.223 15:10, July 3, 2011 (UTC)

Patch 1.06 prevents Nash from returning to store[]

I noticed on the Playstation 3 that the new patch is keeping Johnson Nash in the casino, but he won't trade with the Courier. He only says to speak to him when he returns to his shop, but he never does return. I went through new games and the same problem arises as long as the patch is installed. Lobsel Vith 17:44, October 3, 2011 (UTC)

I'm having this problem too. Is it definitely caused by the patch? I put Meyers as Sherrif, came back a few days later, got rid of the deserters, and he still won't leave.--Jolipinator 11:09, September 4, 2011 (UTC)

Yes, it's caused by the last patch (prior to the one recently released for Lonesome Road), because when I deleted the patch, everyone walked out of the Vikki and Vance casino, and Nash was found in his store. When the patch was put back, everyone walked into the casino, including Nash. Lobsel Vith 17:44, October 3, 2011 (UTC)

Removed the part that said that the bug may be caused by repairing ED-E before completion of the quest. I just tested it on my most recent game...choosing Meyers, the bug occurs regardless of repairing ED-E before quest completion or not. 74.58.253.155 22:12, November 1, 2014 (UTC)

Are they ever going to fix this guy?[]

Thought I'd try stopping by Primm on they way to the Canyon wreckage and see if he had any ammo for me, but he was hiding in the Vikki and Vance Casino telling me to wait until he got back to his shop before he kept wandering around. And this is on a file where he'd already gone back to his shop before the patch that caused it. User:Great_MaraMessage 05:17, September 21, 2011 (UTC)

Oddly enough, this is only a problem If you have made Meyers the sheriff. I was at that point in the game having this problem. I restored an earlier save, made Primm Slim the sheriff, and Johnson still wont leave the casino, but He'll sell to me. 96.244.15.38 03:19, October 23, 2011 (UTC)Jdengenis

I don't think the problem is linked to Meyers. I put the town under NCR control. Nash stays in the casino and won't sell to me. Dismissing and rehiring ED-E didn't help. --VaultCreeper 16:57, November 7, 2011 (UTC)

If it's true that there won't be any more patches to correct the problems that have arisen, then it doesn't look like Johnson Nash getting stuck in the Vikki and Vance (and refusing to do business unless Primm Slimm became Sheriff) will be corrected. The problem that arose with the patch isn't likely to be corrected. Lobsel Vith 18:33, November 7, 2011 (UTC)

Nash Dead[]

I started talking to Nash as he was getting up from a slot machine and when the conversation was over he dropped dead. Anyone else experience something like this? I've already made Slim the new Sheriff, but I haven't finished ED-E My Love. Is there any harm in leaving him dead? 99.249.145.119 00:58, October 27, 2011 (UTC)JP (on PS3)

stops selling GRA weapons after My Kind of Town quest complete?[]

Anyone else notice that this guy stops selling GRA add-on weapons after bringing law back to Primm? Eddo36 (talk) 05:27, August 13, 2012 (UTC)

Let me get back to my shop Bug[]

I don't know for sure but this only seems to happen to me when I choose to have the NCR take over Primm. Making Primm Slimm sheriff seems to allow him to keep trading just fine. Never bothered with Meyers since I'm usually hostile with the Powder Gangers, so I don't know about him. Great Mara (talk) 07:19, March 18, 2013 (UTC)

Working fix for not returning to shop bug[]

A way to make J. Nash return to his shop is to immediatly fast travel away from Primm after completing My Kind of Town quest and wait or sleep some in-game hours. When you return you should find him in his shop. Torgue (talk) 20:57, September 29, 2016 (UTC)
