Occasional Glitch?[]
I just ran into a glitch where the Sheath does not disappear when the Katana is unequipped. It did disappear after a while once I reequipped the katana, then equipped something else. Anyone run into this? Anko the Great 21:35, September 27, 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah it usually happens to me when switching armor or weapons with the hotkeys. Personally, I think it looks cool but I guess those who never uses third-person camera will notice. --Occam's Razor 01:05, September 28, 2011 (UTC) How can I get the stupid thing to stop trailing behind me with that falling off clamor. I'll hear something like kicking up tin cans while running and turn around and the sheath is in multiples on the ground or floating behind in the air in a trail behind me! The glitch is nerve racking and noisy, I like third person view and it might look neat but it remains even when unequipped. I feel like I dropped it every time I hear the noise...but the mod still seems to be on the weapon in the inventory...I'd like to fix the glitch somehow...today is the first time it's happened thus far. I fixed it now. Save your game, then shut off your console right after(don't pause it or anything) turn it back on and load the game then LOAD (not continue) the game save..viola! It's fixed.(Not2shabbyBABY (talk) 01:53, August 17, 2013 (UTC))

Finding it[]
I'm having trouble finding this mod. Mick never has mods, The Vendortron has yet to have any katana mods, CLiff has the other two (which is how I got them) but never this one, None of the traveling merchants I've seen (which is usually the one by Novac) have had it, and Gloria is dead. What I want to know is why I'm not finding it. Is it just the rarest attachement? If you have it who did you buy it from? Any advice on how to make getting it easier? - This happened to me too dude, don't worry so much, eventually it will appear. It was annoying just seeing the same mods for it, but one day it just came up! So it's not really a bug or anything, it just takes a long time for the mods to change on some vendor's inventories. Don't go waiting 3 days like crazy, that won't speed it up, just play like normal and it should come up. I know how you feel though, the katana looks so incomplete without a sheath, but hang in there, it will definitely pop up soon. --Felix Brehh

- cliff never had this in his invenetory had the other two mods for this weapon but never this so i went to the mojave outpost sometimes the merchant is there sometimes you have to walk east to find him but he did have this the 3rd time i checked.--64.126.90.132 15:22, October 26, 2011 (UTC) Gloria VanGraff, (of all vendors!), generally has it in stock most often I've found...and one time a traveling merchant had it for me! I was like level 4 or five and had not even bought the katana yet! I sold almost every thing I had to pay for it that early in the game...but I had all the add-on stash packs to help. I never use metal armor or the merc 40mm grenade launcher anyway. But check the Silver Rush for it. And might I add the Spartelwood gatling laser,it is costly but well worth the caps...especially w/ 100 energy weapons skill and the MELTDOWN perk. Visual bug worth noting[]
I've encountered the visual bug mentioned above where multiple Katana sheath's can begin to accumulate floating in the air behind you. They even stay put after dropping the Katana and equipping another weapon. It can be fixed by saving, exiting to menu, and reloading. Not using any hotkeys or mods and it happens randomly.
