Can't stay away, can you?

Aha, the (in)famous Yes Man returns for yet another day! If you want, you can update the badge count and upload it! Otherwise it will be on my 75,000 edit, then I'll do it myself or Guardian. Porter still has me beat with his editcount of 64,500 but that won't last too long anymore. I remember I was in awe when I saw his 52,000 edits when I just started here. Look where I am now. As you can imagine, I don't consider his bot an honest opponent. But seeing it won't make edits here anymore, I think I can beat it. I may even have 100k edits before the next Fallout. Thanks for that correcting that akward spelling error. About who's having the most edits on any wiki... a few weeks ago I saw someone have 91000 edits. Yes, the end of 2012 was my goal at first. But I would have to keep this pace and I don't think I can. I've lost a bit of my motivation with the split and next year my attention is needed on the XCOM wiki, of which I'm the founder. Great memories of playing the first two, Enemy Unknown and Terror from the Deep. Know them? Fantastic games. Tension splitting. The new one is (unfortunately?) not turn based anymore. Well, we'll see how it works out. My idea for the 100k is now roughly halfway through 2013. Jspoel 02:06, December 20, 2011 (UTC)

Bureaucrat

It's not so much what Kingclyde thinks, but more how I feel about it. I'm going through a let-go process right now, and I'm not ready with it yet. When I apply for bureaucratship here, for myself it would mean a definitive goodbye to people I shared so much good time with. And Kingclyde has just been promoted, he's will stay for plenty of time to come. And is a 2nd bureaucrat really that important? Seriously, if you want to become a Hollywood actor, that won't be hard at all. Tom Cruise can't act for instance, yet he's world famous. Your dream is quite achievable, especially since Aussie accents are hawt (I do think so). As for guitar playing, I've always wanted to be able to, but I'm too lazy to actually go about learning it. Bitches love guitars, as Jasper would put it.

Well, that theory I can disprove quite easily. Silly people. See the Mayan calendar ended in 2012, our time, so people are going "OH NO! They predicted the future!!", which is utterly silly. Our calender ends on the 31st of December every year, yet the world stays in place. Curious...

Anyhoo, yes, I find Aussie accents sexy. I guess you know one of the reasons for that =P. As for Tom Cruise... he has kinda fallen from grace, so to speak. A lot of Hollywood actors tend to do that... maybe you shouldn't become one of those. Hugs ^{"Say 'ello to my little friend!"}

Robert Downey Jr is a great actor, though, even if he's a bit too attached to the bottle... and some other things. But yeah, Sandler seems to be happy enough, same with Jack Black and those kind of actors. But Depp... Oh Johnny Depp, how I love that actor. Sweeney Todd did it for me. He was excellent in that movie, and that movie was glorious.

It's always good to hear from ya, and I certainly learnt a lot about your past here. Interesting, much of it is reminiscent of my own experiences here earlier on. I must agree with one thing though, Jspoel did keep this wiki alive. And it's really he that inspired me to contribute a lot. As you know, I became a chat mod only 2 1/2 months after joining. I also plan to apply for admin before February, if that seems right. Know that you're always welcome here and your IP address is no more concealing than the Yes-Man icon! Sounds like you've already decided. I know the feeling of not knowing where I'm going, but I'm doing my best of the situation and I'm trying to build as broad and steady a foundation as possible. It's hard. First real scholastic challenge I've gotten, ever, and I'm second guessing myself constantly. But hey, that's life.

What's up?

Well, I've begun the slow ascent from a depression and I'm hoping it'll be over by February. Should be, anyway. Other than that I had the best dinner in a while today (tenderloin, yum) and I now have an ample supply of coke. Oh, and my collarbone keeps popping, I don't know why, I need to get that checked.

We go to school a year later than most other countries (at least English speaking ones, it seems - and it's really an extra year when you're 6 in which you do nothing), so I'm actually on my first year of our equivalent of a high school. T'is going well enough, but it was a lot harder than I first thought. I have a plan, though, so it'll go fine. Anyway, I'm off to bed now, I have a dentist's appointment tomorrow morning, sadly. The Vault is going smoothly, for the most part. A lot of pages (mostly FO3 and FNV) are being split into individual articles and the help needed pages (like cleanup, section needed, etc.) are slowly dwindling down. Only problem is that I'm running out of things to do! I also restarted the WWP on the community site, but it's getting a lot less reception as it did here. It's been up for four days and only about 20 people have voted :/; used to be 300! --Kastera ^(talk) 02:44, January 9, 2012 (UTC)

Fallout Answers is going about as slow as it was when I first started there a couple years ago. I'm not complaining; the site is much more easy to regulate and take care of when there's only one or two new questions every three days. Yet it doesn't feel as fun as it did before, maybe because people are actually using the wiki, meaning most of their questions are "My game doesn't work. What's wrong with it?". Quite notably, it hasn't been attacked in a long time, maybe Tezzla did die in a tragic cooking accident. I did notice that MysteryStanger's polls don't have that jazz that mine did, but then again he's getting more votes and comments than me, so I can't really be talking smack. --Kastera ^(talk) 03:08, January 9, 2012 (UTC)
