Yes, followers still trigger traps. It makes it less valuable if you want to take NPCs with you, because they won't use stimpaks when hit with them, and only heal after combat. If you don't have the perk, any trap you miss should be triggered by the PC, who can be healed at anytime. 126.96.36.199 05:49, 25 February 2009 (UTC)

It works very well. you seem to have a glitch. My followers keep triggering but i can dance a jig on mines, tripwires, lasertripwires....--220.127.116.11 13:54, November 2, 2011 (UTC)
I seem to be suffering from the same glitch, if that's what it is, as the the above poster. In every one of my playthroughs, Light Step has failed to work specifically against tripwires that are attached to Rigged Shotguns. I thought it didn't work on tripwires at all until my Legion character got to the battle at Hoover Dam, and waltzed right over the tripwires there. Has anyone else noticed this particular pattern?
