Apparently Lucky Jim wasn't so lucky as he seems to have died when the entrance of the mine collapsed. The collapsed mine entrance and 2 skeletons can be seen just to the south east of the entrance to the house near a mine cart.

  • the fact that there are two skeletons means that lucky jim was not the only person working in his mine. without any conclusive evidence, i don't see how you can say that jim was one of the skeletons. perhaps lucky jim was unloading his cart outside while his two helpers were in the mine filling theirs at the time of the collapse. they started to run, but didn't quite make it. jim, being the lucky man that he is, probably decided mining wasn't his gig, after watching his friends die, and left right then, never to look back.
  • And maybe it actually is Jim and his clone.
  • and maybe it was two of jim's clones, and the notoriously lucky jim did escape...

What if it was his great grandchild from the future and his human dog

Oblivion Music?[]

When I walk into Lucky Jim Mine House, I swear I hear music from Oblivion. Is this only me? -Annlon

Skill Book Fell into oblivion[]

I went in here I'm pretty sure for the first time in one game and all I found was a Large destroyed book, large ruined book, pressure cooker, a shot glass, an empty whiskey bottle and a hammer that was it, no skill book to be found. Suspecting I may have been there before I went back to a previous save (not the autosave) and entered again, the contents of the metal box, oven and the locker had changed so it must have been my first load of that room (right?), and picking up one of the ruined books causes the other to behave like it almost wants to fall into nothingness. I loaded the save a few more times but still no skill book, not sure what I did that would affect this area when really it should exist in limbo until you first enter it but I recommend picking up this book early when starting a new game.
