This picture shows the Lone Wanderer's "face". How do you get the camera to show your face? HuangLee 04:00, 11 February 2009 (UTC)

If you mean how to rotate the camera to see the front of your character, it depends on which platform you're playing on. On the PC, you hold down the mousewheel and move the mouse. Since this is the button used to switch between first- and third-person views, I would try holding down whatever button that is on your version (if you're playing on a console) and then using whichever joystick normally lets you look around, and that combination should rotate your camera. Note that when you let go of the "switch view" button, the camera will snap back to being behind your character. Alternatively, on the PC, you can open the command console (~) and type in the command "tfc" (which is short for "toggle free camera") - this will simply "detach" the camera, and then you can move it around using the normal movement keys (WASD + mouse). You will (mostly) lose control of your character while in free camera mode, although you can still do a few things, such as shoot or reload, crouch, etc. You will have to enter "tfc" in the command console again to regain full control. This is useful for taking screenshots, especially in conjunction with the command "tm" (which toggles all the HUD graphics off). I know your question was posted in February and you've probably figured it out by now, but maybe this will help someone else... 12.204.48.130 07:28, 5 June 2009 (UTC)
Also, on PS3 you can simply stand around doing nothing. After a while, the camera will start circling your character in third person view, and you'll eventually get a good shot of the front. It's how I check the way I look when equipping stuff. --JustAGuest

Is the reason behind the CH-1 because the Mechanist is a Lame-o? Paximilian 04:56, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

Actually, I'd think it's because you'd have a harder time getting others to take you seriously while wearing it.
