All versions...

Japanese console version, both 360 and PS3, of Fallout 3 DO explicitly use the term "Morphine" instead of ambiguous "Med-X".
I don't know how things are in other language version, but at least the article should say that there are some exception. - 11:16, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

Medic Power Armor

Should the Medic Power Armor the discussed in the introduction? Because it seems the intro is more about the Power Armor than the actual Med-X itself. - Dweller93 09:20, 14 April 2009 (UTC)

I agree. I also notice that the Med-X page does not mention the effects of Med-X at all. I'm curious if the "25%" damage decrease is counted like damage resistance (and subject to the 85 DR cap), or if it takes an extra "25%" off the net damage received. Does Nerd Rage + PMPA Med-X + Med-X = 100 theoretical DR? Or does it give +50 DR, and half damage received?
It's added directly to DR. Shoot up a dose and you'll notice your DR increases by 25 while active, and thus is entirely ineffectual if you already have 85 DR from other means. -- 02:40, 30 May 2009 (UTC)
It does talk too much about the armor. I think it should be added to talk page instead.BOSPalidan 's ROFLCopter goes soi soi soi soi soi 03:26, July 6, 2010 (UTC)

Where can I get this stuff in New Vegas?

I need Med-X once I get to the strip (for a quest) but I cannot find it anywhere! Anyone have any locations? I even went all the way back to Goodsprings looking for some. --Deboriole 22:56, October 30, 2010 (UTC)

there's plenty of chems lying about vault 3. You can either fight your way through the raiders there or pass a speech check (60 if i recall? will look it up) to get in. There's no karma penalty from stealing their chems. Med-x, jet, psycho, from what i remember there was a decent amount. ( 14:53, November 1, 2010 (UTC))

Thanks for the reply. I actually found some for sale in Gomorrah, at the bar. --Deboriole 16:01, November 1, 2010 (UTC)

Oh thank you so much. Buying stuff at a brothel is so much easier than pillaging a vault. --CGD January 22, 2011 (UTC)

I bought six from the New Vegas Medical Clinic. Now I'm stuck trying to find Fixer to supply to the Followers in the Old Mormon Fort in Freeside. I'm playing on an XBox 360, pre-patch, for what it's worth. -- 05:29, October 28, 2011 (UTC)

Med-X is an Ingredient Item

Med-X is required to make the Drugged Wine in the Beyond the Beef quest-line. Although the Beyond the Beef article notes this, the Med-X article does not (at least, I didn't find any such refrence).

My suggestion is that all items that can be used as ingredients should note such on their article pages. Otherwise, players who are looking up the items may assume that it is not used for crafting anything. Hence, they may consume, sell, or otherwise not store such items for future (necessary, but yet unrealized) situations.
