what is the id number for the merc grunt outfit?

actualy I used the one from fallout 3 and got it with a DT of 3 instead of 1

ya it's odd the the new vegas merc clothes showed up with a dt of 1

merc charmer neckplate

Actually...

There's nothing charming about the male Merc Charmer Outfit's crotch accessory. Not only would a man wearing that not charm anyone, he would also only be ridiculed.

Female outfit, on the other hand, doesn't look half bad. Then again, it does, but that's still better than most. The female adventurer outfit is about as good, too. The apparel that fit the female form well are few and far between, sad to say, so these 2 stand out. Leather armor is still better, though. Especially the Lightweight Leather Armor.

About "unique" variants

There are some unique variants of the merc outfits in game on several NPCs, with the identical name/apperance as the "normal" ones but have DT of 3. Should we add some info about them as well? (like who's wearing which unique variant, or their base id.)

Also I think it's better for putting the info about Explorer's Gear in this page rather than in FO3's. --NovaRain 07:49, April 21, 2011 (UTC)

explorers gear..

hi the explorer Gear is bit of a mess when i see it, want to hear your opion first before changing anything.

Orion moreno explorers gear link is linking to cut content for fallout 3, shouldnt it be linked here?

the description in fallout new vegas for merc outfits is a bit confusing for a new reader because it doesnt say anything about why the explorer gear is special except the name, so im thinking of adding information about for example that the armour has weight of 3 and a DT of 8.
