Bakersfield is nowhere near where Necropolis appears on the Fallout map. I'm not sure if it was originally intended to be the same place, or it was pure speculation in the Fallout bible as it was never mentioned in the games. Ekarderif 06:30, 8 Mar 2005 (GMT)
It is said in the Vault locations v34.129 holodisk. According to Chris Avellone, it was initially meant to be located in the place of Bakersfield, but was later on moved on the map by someone who didn't know it's supposed to be that town. Ausir 15:49, 8 Mar 2005 (GMT)
Sewers should be included? Image? (I can take screenshots but not the large bird's eye view ones - unless that is splicing of multiple screenshots...which = ewww) V.A.T.S. addict 04:24, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
Every single time I go to Necropolis it's been completely slaughtered. No matter when I go there.--Owrm 18:48, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
- Three days after your initial visit, the town gets invaded by supermutants. http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/thumb/5/5c/Scribe.jpg/15px-Scribe.jpg Tagaziel (call!) 19:18, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
Is the slaughter triggered by getting the water merchants to go to Vault 13? Because even when I haven't been to Necropolis it's dead--Owrm 20:50, 7 July 2009 (UTC)
- I recall that it also happens if you enter the town after... 120? 150 days? http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/thumb/5/5c/Scribe.jpg/15px-Scribe.jpg Tagaziel (call!) 23:15, 4 July 2009 (UTC)
Oh thank you. That makes a lot of sense.--Owrm 20:50, 7 July 2009 (UTC)
Is my quest ruined?
After visiting a totalled Necropolis, is it still possible to get a fuse anywhere?
- The water chip should still be in the Vault. Go grab it! Use the only working terminal at the bottom of the Vault Command Center, and enter the Vault itself through a manhole in the room to the right of the ghoul prisoner's chamber. Nitty Tok. 03:30, December 29, 2009 (UTC)
Thanks! Um...how do I get to the Vault :S
- Enter the Watershed area, go through the room with Harry in it, then the one with the pipes. The little room on the right side has a manhole hidden in it. Go through that, then the one in the room you're put in. You'll be in the tunnel that leads to Vault 12. Shoot the Glowing Ones, go to the third floor, grab the Chip, high-tail it back to V13, and enjoy not having a time limit! Also, 7500 XP. Nitty Tok. 05:37, December 29, 2009 (UTC)
Thanks a lot Nitpicker!
