There is quite large piece of information in Fallout Bible concerning NCR army, so it can be added here. I created this article, because I don't want to overload main NCR article (wich sholud be cleaded BTW).--dotz 21:12, 22 November 2008 (UTC)

Enclave in NCR Army

Given that if Gannon outs himself as an Enclave member the NCR pursues him relentlessly as a war criminal, it seems likely that no Enclave remnants were knowingly incorporated into the NCR. 17:46, November 2, 2010 (UTC)

if they defeated navvaro

shouldnt at least back west they have some enclave armor as they must have gotten a few suits after they took navvaro and ethier figured it out or slavaged it much like the armor in newvegas

Does any Fallout source list the ranks of the NCR Army?

From whats seen in the game, they seem to use the same ranking system as the old U.S. Army.

Here is what i believe to be the ranks. General, Colonel, Major, Captain, Lieutenant, Quartermaster (Deals with supplies), First Sergeant, Tech Sergeant, Sergeant, Corporal, Private First Class, Private. Then the NCR Rangers operate under another chain of command most likely a more senior ranger is incharge of a group of them.

Military battalions

I think we should add a section of all known regiments, units and battalions within the NCR. examples: 1st recon, 5th battalion, 1st company. etc. Since there aren't many we could put Unidentified regiment at ______. Just a suggestion.--RobertBennett 19:46, July 15, 2011 (UTC)

I'm just being picky, but...

" In the Pre-War, Military Police could have breaks, but they are prohibited from drinking alcohol or having sex. Normally, they would have been discharged for such behavior."

As someone who is currently in the US Military, well, that statement is kinda false. While no, you can't drink or get laid while on duty (as say, on a break while still on shift), off duty you can pretty much do whatever you want; no organization on earth is going to have much success in preventing people from having sex and drinking in their own time.

Yes, but this is not based on the real world. The Fallout Universe has a few differences with the real world concerning before the war. But I see where you're coming from, it does sound a bit silly doesn't it? Yes Man default.png 07:18, August 7, 2011 (UTC)

I know, I know, but as far as I know there's no documentation saying what the Fallout Pre-War military had to say on those matters, that being said, is there reason to assume that it was any different seeing as it was never mentioned either way? It just seems like that statement quoted above was just tacked on there without anything backing it up.

Shouldn't it be "Military?

Should the article be named "New California Republic Armed Forces"? They do have some sort of air craft, though there is no ref for their separation from the Army, that I am aware of.--Ant2242 (talk) 08:29, 10 July 2013 (UTC)

It's explicitly referred to as Army. It's not that weird, actually. For instance, the United States Air Force wasn't a separate component until after World War II and was folded into the US Army structure. Tagaziel (talk) 09:05, 10 July 2013 (UTC)

Hoover Dam Engeneers

I don't believe the Engineers at Hoover Dam are part of the NCR Army. For example Mike Lawson uses NCR Civilian generic dialogue.--Ant2242 (talk) 03:46, 20 July 2014 (UTC)
