Location on Map[edit source]
What is the closest map marker to this fort? It doesn't have one of it's own. Servius 17:58, October 23, 2010 (UTC)
- I found it. It's just inside the Freeside's North Gate. I'll update the article accordingly. Servius 18:35, October 23, 2010 (UTC)
If you try to pickpocket and wake the doctor in the western guardhouse, she will not attack, but you will lose whatever weapon you equip while in that room (possibly the guardhouse). I lost my laser rifle and my minigun. I reloaded (wielding some dynamite, just in case) and didnt attempt to pickpocket and everything was fine.
holding the fort[edit source]
how do you get the followers to keep the fort after the ending? ever way i have tried has just expelled them
Endless supply of skill Magazines[edit source]
Julie Farkas will have an endless supply of skill magazines for sale if you exploit a dialoge bug.
When you have been accepted by the followers (either by completing quests or donating chems), Julie will sell you a wide selection of skill magazines. These include Fixin' Things, Lad's Life, Meeting People, Programmer's Digest, Salesman Weekly and Today's Physician.
When you have cleared out her inventory of magazines, tell her that you have some chems to drop off. When prompted for a reply, select "Never mind" and the magazines will be restocked in her inventory. The magazines stack in quantity each time that you repeat those steps, so you can go through the dialogue options many times and then buy the magazines in bulk.
You can leave the fort, come back later and she will still have an endless supply of the magazines, as long as you exploit the dialogue bug.
(Confirmed on unpatched PS3 version of the game)
