I'm kind of confused... What is the orange light? Is that some kind of teleporting device? I really think the the guy narrating in the trailer is the cowboy--BloodOmelet 17:26, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
The narration might be one of the logs you find on the ship just by the way is sounds and end. Five Star Genral Of The Dead BigDog 17:28, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
.44 Magnum?[edit source]
I don't see a scope on that gun!
There's three people in this pic, but you can barely see one.

Well, that orange thingy might be the prisoners place or something....--BloodOmelet 17:32, 2 August 2009 (UTC)
Cowboy garbs?[edit source]
One thing......AWESOME CLOTHES!!! I hope its brown/black, and the under shirt is white!!!!
Y'know, I'll make a page for those too. Nitty 03:57, 2 August 2009 (UTC)
I was on the Bridge, fighting the other ship when Paulson died fighting Aliens. I have looked everywhere for his body but I can't find it. (Xbox 360)--Darth Dan 012 14:52, 5 August 2009 (UTC)
Is he gone?[edit source]
When the player leaves, does Paulson just up and vanish?Jukebox hero
Yes. Spoon 01:56, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
Then can we remove the part about if it's unknown if he will return or not? --Nichos354
Found Paulson after he died[edit source]
I too thought his body disappeared, but I found his gun on the ground and thought that I was able to search his entire body. Also, afterward I looked up and there the body was, his leg attached ,somehow, to the ceiling. I don't know how common this is, but it might be worth looking on the ceiling if you can't find his body anywhere else
Reverse Pickpocketing[edit source]
I was able to equip everyone but Paulson with fully-repaired Alien Disintegrators and Alien Power Modules. After succeeding in providing an Alien Disintegrator, three attempts to equip Paulson with Alien Power Modules failed and he became hostile.
So I reloaded my auto save and performed the same exercise. Same result. This time I just retired Paulson, looted the unique items he carried and continued on. Did I miss anything?
By "retired", you mean "turned him into a neat little pile of ashes", right? Nitty 04:26, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
talon cowboy[edit source]
i was having trouble with him dieing in the hangar battle so i gave him talon armor by reverse pickpocketing he put on the armor but will he die this time? im asking because i wanna see if it will work before i try it. also i wanted to know if he'll ever put his own outfit on again.--220.127.116.11 16:53, April 10, 2010 (UTC)
I saved right before I dropped the force field to the generator (which triggers the battle), and I couldn't keep Paulson alive even after reloading that save seven or eight times to try (XBox 360, Level 30, Normal difficulty). I finally gave up and left him dead. Oh well, at least I got his outfit and his revolver. Just make sure you loot him quickly after he dies, or else his body disappears and his stuff is gone forever.
When I play through it again, I'm going to try RP-ing some armor and stimpaks onto him and see if that helps. It can't possibly hurt since his regular outfit has practically no damage resistance.
Gator Country 05:22, April 13, 2010 (UTC)
Don't know for sure if it will work - I haven't replayed the Hangar battle yet. I've just started a new character though, and I'm going to send her into MZ on Hard difficulty at a relatively low level and see what she can do. I just have to make sure she has enough Science skill to hack the terminal that opens the safe for the Novasurge plasma pistol before I let her get abducted - that was by far my favorite weapon on the ship. I don't remember if I needed 25 or 50 Science for that, though.
I should be able to send her in fairly soon, though, and then I'll try giving Paulson the Talon armor and some stims, and see if he survives the battle. Gator Country 21:39, April 14, 2010 (UTC)
ok but i dont care if he dies when the aliens come out from the generator room anymore ill just give toshiro his sword back and he'll take paulsons place i just want him to live till then
Are you going to find out if you can or not, my new vegas broke so im back to 3. 18.104.22.168 19:59, November 9, 2011 (UTC)
Fallout: New Vegas[edit source]
He's a random encounter in the new fallout game, when you see him he will be shocked at the worlds state, you can lie or tell him the truth about what happened. he will give you one of his guns. if you kill him you can get the second one. which you can dual wield. anybody else hear this?--Silverfox6000 21:19, October 1, 2010 (UTC)
'Achhooo!' Sorry, I'm alergic to bull s***.
This is rubbish. Zeta isn't even cannon, and he stays on the ship anyway. Seeing as you (the New Vegas PC) wont know what happened between him and the Lone Wanderer this isn't even possible.JaspertheViking :D? 20:06, September 27, 2010 (UTC)
Yeah where the hell did you hear that? He either dies or stays on MZ forever. Even if it was canon, ive already advanced to 2282 mostly by going back and forth from Point Lookout. Hes still on the ship. and you cant dual wield. they wouldve announced it by niw Shepherd's ghost 20:27, September 27, 2010 (UTC)
I'm not sure if this is true or anything, that's why i'm asking if someone else has heard this. hell i heard you can become a ghoul too. but i guess we will see--Silverfox6000 21:19, October 1, 2010 (UTC)
It's already been stated that NO Fallout 3 characters - canon or otherwise - will be appearing in Fallout: New Vegas. Not Paulson nor anyone else. --Kris 21:02, September 27, 2010 (UTC)
I didn't know that... all things i know about this game is online rumors. i came here because this site seems reliable and wanted to ask people who most likely knew. is there a place i can go to that has updates on the game that aren't just speculation or other crap? besides this one--Silverfox6000 21:19, October 1, 2010 (UTC)
- Bethesda Softworks forums - some of the developers from Obsidian, most notably J.E. Sawyer, as well as Bethesda employees involved in the game, post there from time to time.
- Bethlog, the Bethesda Softworks blog.
And I'm sure there's other places as well. --Kris 21:13, September 27, 2010 (UTC)
Thanks ^_^ been waiting for this game since i saw the trailer--Silverfox6000 21:19, October 1, 2010 (UTC)
