Reference[]

This is possibly a reference to The Love Shack song...

How? It's a shack. Is there anything else in common? Nitpicker of the Wastes 17:06, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
The Raaaiiiid Shack, it's a really good place yeah!--Kingclyde 17:08, 26 June 2009 (UTC)

Wierd Glitch[]

I was walking away from the raid shack (towards Canterbury Commons) when a car fell out of the sky and noclipped through my character.

Possible Glitch?[]

I have the PC version (with all DLC's installed - Anchorage, Pitt, Lookout, Zeta) and have tried twice now to enter this shack - each time the loading "clock" appears at the bottom, then my computer screen goes to black and the game hangs up - don't know if anyone else is having this problem, but I've tried two times now to enter the shack and both times get the same computer problem - so far, no other area of the game does this to me.--97.120.86.149 19:31, September 9, 2009 (UTC)Docbaun

Glitch on PS3 version?[]

I think I found a Bug, i can't go into the shack at all. I just walk through the door.

It didn't fix itself when I reloaded, but it did when I fast traveled back to Bethesda Ruins then ran over to the Raid shack.

360 Glitch[]

Ohay. I have no add-ons (thanks to Microsoft's ridiculous policies) on my 360 copy of the game installed, and when I went into the Raid Shack, everything went gray and white and black in polygonal shapes when I looked in a certain direction. It was fine going anywhere in the house so long as I didn't face back out toward the Wasteland from whence I came, but yeah... looking that way made the game completely freak out, although it was running absolutely normally except for the strange shapes dancing across roughly 2/3rds of the screen.

This has happened to me about 3 or 4 times now. It's just a graphical bug, and can occur anywhere.

Best Hidout!!!![]

I just want to tell you all that if you use the Mesmatron on the raiders here and turn them friendly, This is the best hidout EVER!!!!

,For starters its got plenty of beds,Theres plenty of personal guards,Its got an enclave radio in the livingroom,And theres a foul mouth (Female) Raider in the kitchen for your entertainment. She says some funny stuff. Theres a nice desk upstairs with a dodgy COOL lamp.Cherry bombs in the Bog,And some good lookout spots in the garden.

Bottom line BEST HIDOUT EVER!!!!!!!!!!!Tommygunner32 22:17, March 1, 2010 (UTC)

Or you can just make mods instead of having to mezz them, plus it saves ammo. Jackass2009 06:20, June 17, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, and those of us that DON'T have the PC version still need to use the mesmetron. Good one, genius. Plus, what do you mean 'save ammo?' You can just buy as much as you want any time.

YEAH i agree, im fed up of people presuming that i play on pc, i prefer xbox it's 10 times better + NO CRASHING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! people on pc don't experience/explore the game half as much as console users, for starters they can mod and use the console commands whenever they get stuck or bored,, console users have to use what there given and that said,,,,they find out twice as much as cheating p.c users,,,,because i play on xbox i have resorted to finding out as much as possible rather than MODDING,,,i guess im rambling now but i stick by my point,,,,p.s RAID SHACK IS GREAT !!!! Tommygunner32 16:18, December 1, 2010 (UTC)

it is my honest opinion that tes-04, which shows up on the light pole pretty near to the raid shack, is actually a nod to the elder scrolls- oblivion. anyone else think so too? hit me up then.
