I did a few runs near the radioactive-water-tower-burned-out-house-with-terminal nearby (just south of the relay) and also got Talon Mercs even though my karma was neutral. Neutrality prevents mercs from spawning in standard random encounters, but apparently not an encounter of this type. Mostly, however, the spawn were enclave soldiers off of a drop-ship, plus occasionally brotherhood outcasts (hostile). I only got the Talon Mercs once. --Ari Solis 18:01, 19 March 2009 (UTC)

  • I have experienced with Fawkes a Deathclaw while I'm at level 20, but I threw a plasma mine at it, and it flew up in the air, like an elevator. Never came down. Bug?

Yes, it's a physics glitch that can occur in many other places as well. As far as I understand it, it occurs when two solids penetrate each other without the program noticing for a moment. When it does get around to realizing what has happened, the two will be violently propelled away from each other (anyone who has inadvertently placed props too close to each other with the Physics Gun in Garry's Mod will have experienced this). It seems particularly common with deathclaws, Protectrons, and Robobrains, but I've had it happen to ordinary Super Mutants as well (shooting one that was standing on a balcony and having it fly up into the air as if it had a rocket up its kazoo). Removed Other Info Section

All it contained was "Believe it or not there was a scientist by the name of Anderson in the first fallout." I'd say you should probably reword it since Anderson is not that uncommon of a name, but Anderson isn't even the right name to begin with (the signal says the man's name is Bob Anderstein) so there is no point in it being in the article. --Jasononline 00:30, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

Alien Power Cells?

I discoverd the Radio Tower today heading towards it from the Grisly Diner, it was nighttime and i sneaked up the hill. Suddenly there was a explosion near the radio tower (maybe the car wreck right next to it?) and some Alien Power Cells where scatterd around in the whole area. But I couldn't find any corpses or other things that could have caused the explosion. Was the vanilla PC version, latest patch. anyone else experienced this? 22:51, February 14, 2010 (UTC) GreyPaladin
