I cant find it where is it exactly?

Another broken flamer?

Does Bethesda hate Pyromaniac or something? Why are they being selective with their flamers?!

According to the GECK, both new flamers and the Heavy Incinerator should be affected by Pyromaniac. -- Porter21 (talk) 06:32, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
Okay, well that's good news. I think the article said it didn't when I wrote that.
So are we sure that the weapons are affected? Grizzly already added the Heavy Incinerator to the list of weapons affected by pyromaniac, so can we add the slo-burn and the rapid-torch too?--Clean Up 00:25, 8 May 2009 (UTC)

Warm Up Time

Alright this article is looking better now.. But what does it mean no warm up time? To me that sounds like the basic flamer takes a second or two to start firing, and that just isn't the case.-- 11:41, 6 May 2009 (UTC)

try to tap the button fast once , you'll see a difference. however you do got a point

it takes about 1 second to start firing with a regular flame thrower actually Aryeonos 08:02, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

Uh... Slow or Slo?

According to the discription, this weapon is called Slo-Burn Flamer on the 360, suggesting that the PC version is Slow-Burn Flamer . I have Broken Steel for PC and it still is called Slo-Burn Flamer. Perhaps I have a port? I swear I got BS from GFWL. --Radnus 00:37, 7 May 2009 (UTC)

I'm running 360 version and it's slo-burn flamer, it's just a name I don't think they're trying for spelling on this one Aryeonos 07:58, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

I have the pyromaniac perk with my character and the damage is not even over 200+. The damage for the Slo-Burn is 180 and the Rapid-Torch is 160. I think there is a problem here. --Clean Up 19:00, 30 May 2009 (UTC)

and what is your big guns skill? does slo-burn flamer 12 dmg in 5 seconds if you have pyromaniac user:the prisoner

My Big guns is maxed out. And so is every other weapons skill I have. --Clean Up 21:26, 4 June 2009 (UTC)

I agree that the dmg in this article must be incorrect. I also have pyromaniac and Bloody Mess and the dmg is not 200+. Something is wrong here. 10:25, 9 June 2009 (UTC)

After Broken Steel is finished

Is it still possible to obtain this weapon? In other words, is the Launch Platform still accessible after it's been destroyed? 18:30, 18 June 2009 (UTC)

It is impossible to obtain anything in the Mobile Base Cralwer once that's destroyed. You can add it through the console if you've missed it.

Because there isn't all that much extra info besides damage mathematics on this and the Rapid torch flamer, I think we should merge this with the flamer article, as well I think that the fallout 2 and 1 flamers should be reduced to smaller sections inside the flamer catagory, unless there is a lot of extra info to contribute, it just looks sloppy and unorganized with all the stubs and and then stubs that create white space inside real articles. something else I forgot to mention for comparison purposes it would be a great idea to merge slo burn rapid torch and regular flamer, flamer being at the top. then rapid then slo or vice versa.

Maybe even putting the heavy incinerator in there I dunno, I'm just thinking because their about the same thing with different damage and ammo consumption it would make sense. Aryeonos 08:04, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

Removed from Article

I combined this with a Psycho and the Pyromaniac perk and killed a Super Mutant Behemoth within 12 seconds, the need to reload slowed it down.

First, it's in first-person. Second, we don't know what difficulty it's on. Spence 11:35, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
Don't forget that the Point Lookout perks increase the damage by a significant amount. 00:32, October 30, 2009 (UTC)

Table Data

Removed the TYPE column, because it was a totally retarded column in a table comparing FLAMERS. Data from Fallout 3 Weapons page. Multiplied all DPS values by 2 to agree with page. Will copy table to all 4 flamers. GunInEveryHome 18:49, June 21, 2010 (UTC)

Overall DPS

If my calculations are correct, the Slo-burn flamer does an amazing 464 DPS after firing for 5 seconds! Can someone add that to the chart?
