I don't have solid evidence but as far as I know, there are differances in factors effecting chance of success of pickpocketing in Black Isle's Fallouts and Bethesda's FO3. If there are, it would be nice if someone seperate them.--VortalBondage 00:14, January 4, 2010 (UTC)

In F3, just item weight and your Sneak skill. In the older Fallouts, it's item weight, your Steal skill, the target's Perception, and the way the target is looking. If they're sober and can see you, you won't have much chance stealing their CZ-53 Personal Minigun. Nitty Tok. 00:17, January 4, 2010 (UTC)

Wrong information. Item weight has no impact on stealing. However, item size does. I'm not talking about that crap Fallout 3 - stealing there is covered by the Sneak page. -Blackened

A part of this page mentions it's possible to stealthily poison a guard (presumably through reverse-pickpocketing?). IMO this could really use some elaboration. - Anon
