It is a bit long-winded, but I am getting to a point. Bear with me.

Directly after Hunter/Hunted, The Railroad decided to turn Hostile. Sadly being on Xbox One, I was unable to use console commands. Further sadness was brought on by the fact that while cleaning up my saves, I deleted all previous for the last 14 days of play...

(Attempting to make sure Data Corruption didn't stall my playing entirely as has occurred in previous installments...)

Suffice to say, I pressed forward, looking for the opportunity to make amends after The Battle of Bunker Hill. While visiting one of my settlements, however, I discovered Deacon dead. Unsure if this was a deal breaker, I pressed on. Directly after defeating the Courser, X4-18, without talking to Father, I headed to Railroad HQ in an attempt to see if my labors were fruitful. Sure enough, I see Drummer Boy running up to me with loving arms... Until I stand up and everyone turns Hostile... Or so I thought.

After eliminating everyone in the main room, I head over to P.A.M.'s cubby hole to discover "her" standing there with rotating arms, but not Hostile. She proceeds to give me the Variable Removal: Reeb Marina.

Not entirely sure if this is precedented, however, I did see in the notes something about her being reprogrammed, but I have yet to do anything like that.

(Upon writing, did research and found that the reprogramming occurs during Tactical Thinking, however, I am on Blind Betrayal...)

Current Quest list and their "states":

Learning Curve - Talk to the Scribe | Blind Betrayal - Go to Recon Post Bravo and locate Danse | The Slog: Greenskins - Talk to Settlers | Kidnapping at Greentop Nursery - Talk to Settlers | Feed the Troops - Go to Nordhagen Beach | The Battle of Bunker Hill - Talk to Father | Cleansing the Commonwealth - Go to location to Cleanse | Quartermastery - Turn into Scribe | Miscellaneous: Repeatable BoS turn-ins and "Search for tech in Boston Mayoral Shelter."

Hope this helps... Someone. Maybe an addition to Bugs?

What are the implications if I am currently in the middle of Synth Retention and I take this mission up? I'm on the Xbox and unable to reset to certain quest IDs to test different behaviors.

A current bug of mine is that the mission will not end in failure or completed even if P.A.M. is dead. --Wildthing202 (talk) 18:40, April 10, 2016 (UTC)

University Point bug[]

As someone else already put on the page, this quest can begin to endlessly repeat, always sending you to University Point. Not sure what causes this, but I've completed multiple playthroughs, doing all Railroad side quests each time, and in the previous playthroughs this quest was given exactly 3 times with no repeating locations. Maybe this is a new bug introduced by a patch? -- DeJuanNOnley (talk) 10:24, July 23, 2016 (UTC)

RobCo Battlezone Bug[]

This bug is marked "Verified" on the RobCo Battlezone page, and a solution is now provided. --Runolfr (talk) 18:38, December 1, 2016 (UTC)

Only given three times in Survival is false[]

I'm trying to get the last DIA cache quest and Pam keeps giving me this quest instead. For the record, the locations she has already given and have been completed by this character are: General Atomics Factory, Poseidon Energy, and Wattz Used Electronics. She's now giving me a fourth one, which keeps pinging back forth between Nuka World Vault Tec and Robco Battlezone each time I reload the save. But yeah, this is on PC Survival difficulty and she is definitely giving me more than three of the quest (was hoping it would only be three so it'd default to the last DIA cache). --Tirsden (talk) 17:37, March 26, 2018 (UTC)
