Duke?[]
So I am exploring Zapp's Neon Signs and presumably this Fiend, named Duke, attacks carrying a rifle and wearing a motorcycle helmet. Any idea on why he he has a name, is he in a quest?
I'm also curious about this... Surely this isn't the one "good" Fiend I'm suppose to make friends with. ;P - TandyBomb 06:40, November 25, 2010 (UTC)
I also encountered Duke, wearing a set of metal armor and a metal helmet, both in very good condition, and weilding a service rifle. He was hostile, like all of the other fiends, and I killed him hoping he wasn't important to any quests or anything. There really should be some information about him on the Wiki. - I expect this is another cut quest to do with Michael Angelo. Probably related to the useless billboard schematics you find in his workshop.
More Notable Loot?[]
I found a named Fiend sporting "Fiend Metal Armor" (DT: 12, WG: 30, AGL -1), a regular Metal Helmet, and a Service Rifle. Anyone else find this stuff on "Duke"?
Also, even though the Map Location is Zapp's Neon Signs, the terminal in the office at the top of the staircase says it's "McMurphy's Neon Sign Designs". --Xeleema 00:31, November 28, 2010 (UTC)
Behind the Scenes?[]
Found an article on Young Electric Sign Company (YESCO) on wikipedia after following some links in the Silver Rush article. Yesco's "Boneyard" seems to have similarities to the area around Zapp's Neon Signs. Besides, YESCO also is a Sign constructor, so similarites abound. --Radnus 13:40, March 20, 2011 (UTC)
Random exploding...[]
A few seconds after disarming the terminal, or triggering its explosion (an explosion that does an odd 0 damage), a second explosion will occur. It source is somewhat random, but it appears to happen within the stairwell. It's an extremely violent explosion, usually severing 2 limbs. And yes, I took care of the tripwire at the top of the stairs. I'm playing the 360 version. Any ideas? --EarthboundD 06:26, November 26, 2011 (UTC)
