The Tanker FOB is a quest item in Fallout 2.

Characteristics

An encoded passkey that provides access to high-security areas of the PMV Valdez.

Locations

  • Navarro: Found in the base commander's locker. Can be stolen or retrieved by posing as a security guard sent to uncover it. In the former case, 70% Lockpick is necessary for a reliable success.

Behind the scenes

The wrecked Highwayman that appears in Fallout: New Vegas was originally planned, in Van Buren, to contain the tanker FOB in the trunk along with all the other equipment.[1]
